Guest Ice Classic V.2

With the recent rating decline in the World Wrestling Entertainment, Vince has been search everywhere to find a good booker. In August 2004 he found that man. Shane Day Shane has been in control of WWE since August 2004, and has been a fan friendly booker. However thigs have been chaging. With big stars morale low he has to pull out some new talent. It doesn't help that rating are decling, can he pull the WWE out?

Feuds and History

World Heavyweight Champion

Aj Styles vs. Chris Jericho (Champion)

History- Chris Jericho has been champion since November 2004, after he won it from Triple H. With key feud wins against The Rock, Kane and Kurt Angle a new lion steps up to the plate. Aj Styles the reiging Intercontiental Champion is ready to main event and he gets the biggest show of the year to do it at.

The Rock vs. HBK

History- No real history here, The Rock came off a feud lost against a heel Randy Orton, and in time he turned heel to win a feud over another main eventer (John Cena) Rock has suffered a loss to Jerihco. HBK hasn't been featured on programming since his Armageddon lost to Triple H so his morale is pretty low.

Charlie Haas vs. Matt Hardy

History- This Feud began as just a thrown together Raw match, with Matt winning by cheating. The fans loved it and are now getting more of it. Charlie Haas has been really getting under the skin of Matt, most recently causing him to lose the Criuserweight title to Juvi Gurrera.

Rhyno vs. Randy Orton

History- Randy Orton defending US Champion. With one big loss on his record and that's from his last feud with Triple H. Rhyno hasn't been used much, but hes due for a push

Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit vs. Shelton Benjamin and Brock Lesnar

History- Feud bulit off pure skill, with Charlie Haas competiing in singles matches, Shelton has went out a recruited an old friend former Minnesota teammate Brock Lesnar. Can The Streching Crew defeat God's Team

Paul London vs. Eddie Gurrero

History- Eddie Gurrero has been impressed with London recent performances, he asked him to become a team, whne Paul refused Eddie was insulted. Eddie has been showing up during London's matches getting him distracted, London said he's tired of Eddie and plans to do something about. Look for the feud to boost London's career.

Expect Raw tomorow. Feedback is welcomed...

Too 'smart-markish' for my liking. For example the usual hiring of AJ Styles; Bryan Danielson in WWE (why?); known troublemaker Juvi Guerrera getting hired; I highly doubt Raven would be re-signed; Brock being re-signed and put in a makeshift feud. However I will let you away with the Saturn hiring (he has friends), and also the CM Punk one because I do think the guy will eventually make it to the WWE.

Some of the reasons for the feuds seem a bit lightweight really. And too 'smarkish' as well. Eddie vs Paul London? Would not happen. Eddie is way above London.

Overall it's a bit too 'smarkish' for my tastes but I'll keep an eye on it, us fellow diary writers need to stick together.

Well I had full results but pressed the back button and it was all gone. During the beginning of my diary, I didn't wasn't smarkish, and the reason Juvi, Bryan Dainelson, Raven, and Perry Saturn are on my roster is due to the fact that I bought out ROH. Don't expect it to be to 'smarkish' though, because I have big things for Wrestlemania and when Triple H comes back. Smackdown will be out today with FULL results.

Location- Portland, Oregon

Juvi Guerrera vs Matt Hardy Version 1.0.

Match Background: This match is for the WWE Cruiserweight title. Juvi Guerrera has been WWE Cruiserweight champion since 10 February 2005.

The Match: Bad case of WWE trying to boost their Cruiserweight divison with the trouble maker Juvi. Matt Hardy took control of the match and never looked back. Juvi was released shortly after the match. Haas and Hardy brawled after the match.

My Opinion: Let me practice my math. 13 quarter stars equal a ***1\4 rating, right? Yeah, it does. That's what you get.

Rating- 83

*Commercial*

Matt Hardy is backstage furious about what just happened.

Matt Hardy: This has to end. Smackdown two weeks from tonight I want you Haas, in a falls count anywhere match. Wanna screw with me during my matches? You get your chance two weeks from tonight.

Rating- 82

Shelton Benjamin is seen roaming the hallways, and he gets approached by one half of the tag team champions, Chris Benoit. Benoit and Shelton beging to brawl uncontrollbly with Benoit using a steel chair on Benjamin's ankle. Benjamin was rushed to the hospitial.

Thoughts: I smell a No Way Out match.

Rating- 76

We return to see Eric Bischoff in his office.

Eric Bischoff- Since Shelton has been take to a local hospital, and since the fans were promised a IC title match they are going to get one. Chris Benoit vs. AJ Styles, and it's next.

Rating- 74

AJ Styles vs Chris Benoit.

Match Background: This match is for the WWE Intercontinetal title. AJ Styles has been WWE Intercontinetal champion since 06 January 2005.

The Match: Great, great match. Back and forth action all over the place. Match came to an end when Benoit was caught using the Brass Knucks. A furious Benoit attacked the ref after the match.

My Opinion: A **** rating is well deserved for the competitors in this match.

Rating- 90

Chris Jericho is seen backstage. He delivers a strong promo.

Chris Jericho- Aj Styles. Last month you debut here in the WWE claming you were going to do great things. You have been marvelous, but Y2J doesn't consider you big time untill you win a world title. And incase you are blind or in denial look around my waist. Yeah thats right junior, THE World Heavyweight Champion. And if you are so good here's an open chanllenge, next week on Raw, IC Champ vs World Champ, Aj Styles vs Chris Jericho. Think about it daddio.

Eric Bischoff comes running up.

Eric Bischoff- You can have your match Chris, but under one condition, you and AJ can't have any physical interaction, if so you will be stripped and he will suspened.

Rating- 91

Christian is backstage.

Christian- I promised big think for Evolution and here it goes. Since Triple H is out with a torn calf he has given me control of Evolution. First thing is first. Ric Flair...your're old, nasty and useless to young studs like us. So don't bother coming back when you get off the injury line old man. And of course we need a replacement for Ric Flair, and that's when I look to the man I came here with, my brother Edge! *A repackage Edge comes out in a suit and short blonde hair, Christian, Edge, and Bastista embrace as a commerical comes*

Rating- 84

*Commercial*

Eddie Guerrero vs Randy Orton.

Match Background: This match is for the WWE United States title. Randy Orton has been WWE United States champion since 10 October 2004.

The Match: Not a bad match for Orton and Eddie. Pretty even throughout untill Rhyno hit the ring causing mass destruction. Ended in a double DQ. Rhyno vs Eddie vs Orton anyone?

Rating- 82

My Opinion: Smack dab in the middle of the star spectrum for an average match. **1\2.

John Cena is backstage. He's got a few word for Kurt Angle.

John Cena- YO YO YO YO! I've got a message for Kurt Angle. I know you attacked me last week, because I posed a threat to you and Benoit, but next week here on SMACKDOWN, you and Benoit will defend those strap against me and a suprise partner. WORD MOTHERFREAKIN LIFE!

Rating- 82

*Commercial*

Kurt Angle vs The Rock.

Match Background: None.

The Match: Heel vs Heel match here. Good match from these two as always. Ending came with Angle making the Rock submit to the Ankle Lock after HBK interference.

My Opinion: I really shouldn't drink when I'm reviewing matches. Especially with Scotsman, I can't drink nearly as much, so I try too hard. It was either ** or ****, but I guess I'll have to compromise and say ***. Makes Angle look strong for Cena next week.

Rating- 85

Vince McMahon is backstage, and announces that at the next show we will see Aj Styles and Chris Jericho fight one on one.

A weak headbutt on Styles by Batista causes nothing but pain for both. AJ Styles charges, Batista moves, and the referee is knocked silly! Batista turns Styles inside-out with a clothesline. My Opinion: **1/4 rating for this one. Scott Keith may say that it's 'Perfectly Acceptable Wrestling', but not for me, buddy. Got to work harder to impress me.

Aj Screws Up.

Chris Jericho is in the ring, and has set up a ladder as part of his demonstration of what he is going to do in his upcoming ladder match. AJ Styles comes out of the crowd and attacks, and uses the ladder to brutally beat Chris Jericho down.

Olympic Sized Words for John Cena

Kurt Angle- You've been sticking your nose in my business lately Cena, and I don't like it. So you know what I did, I got Eric Bischoff to make a one on one match next week Chris Benoit vs. John Cena. It's true, it's true

Chris Benoit, Kurt Angle, and The Rock vs John Cena, Shelton Benjamin, and Charlie Haas.

Match Background: The Rock and Kurt had a #1 contendors match last week, forced to work together this week. Angle and Cena have been feuding recently. Neither has managed to get an in-ring victory in this feud. God's Team are the reigning WWE Tag Team champions, and have been since 17 January 2005.

The Match: Charlie Haas just WALKS into a stiff lariat clothesline from Benoit. Vertical suplex by Chris Benoit. Tag between Chris Benoit and The Rock. Rude Awakening neckbreaker on Charlie Haas by Rock. Remember when that was a legit finish? Nice piledriver on Haas. Hooks the leg for a two count. Tag between The Rock and Kurt Angle. DEATH VALLEY DRIVAH~! by John Cena just KILLS Kurt Angle! Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! Fallaway slam by John Cena puts down Kurt Angle. Tag to Shelton Benjamin. Trying to channel the spirit of Misawa, Shelton Benjamin ends up chanelling Lex Luger instead and nails a running forearm to the face, minus the steel plate, of course. Hard impact Russian Leg Sweep by Shelton. According to some other reviewers around here, 'legsweep' is one word. Shelton Benjamin misses a clothesline. Tag to Chris Benoit. Shelton gets caught with a short powerbomb from Benoit. Tag to Charlie Haas. Charlie Haas connects with a back heel kick on Benoit and gets back up quickly. Haas charges into the corner but EATS BOOT. Matt Hardy Version 1.0 comes running down the aisle with a chair! Benoit and Charlie Haas continue fighting, unaware of the intrusion. Matt Hardy Version 1.0 slides in and blasts Charlie Haas with a chair to the head! Matt climbs out of the ring, the damage done! Charlie Haas gets knocked to the ground by Benoit, who is already climbing the turnbuckle. Off the top - Swandive Headbutt, forget about it. 1....2...3!

Winners- Chris Benoit, Kurt Angle, and The Rock.

My Opinion: Let me practice my math. 13 quarter stars equal a ***1\4 rating, right? Yeah, it does. That's what you get.

Rhyno vs Randy Orton.

Match Background: Rhyno and Orton are currently feuding. Neither has managed to get an in-ring victory in this feud. This match is for the WWE United States title. Randy Orton has been WWE United States champion since 10 October 2004.

Spear by Randy Orton. Covers for a quick two count. Death valley driver (not to be confused with the DVD 500) by Randy Orton connects and Rhyno is down! Pin, but Rhyno is out just before the three count. Randy Orton misses a big legdrop after stalling too long. Rhyno slams Randy Orton. Orton blocks a kick from Rhyno. Running knee lift from Randy Orton. Orton scores with a forearm, sending Rhyno down into the corner. The referee pulls Randy Orton away to get the break. Wait! Rhyno has pulled something out of his tights. Randy Orton walks over...and gets floored by a punch! No, the referee saw the brass knuckles! We have DQ decision! Eddie Guerrero has a chair. Rhyno turns and takes a brutal shot to the head. Orton is next to take a hard shot. Eddie has demolished everyone!

No Contest

My Opinion: I really shouldn't drink when I'm reviewing matches. Especially with Scotsman, I can't drink nearly as much, so I try too hard. It was either ** or ****, but I guess I'll have to compromise and say ***.

Contract Signing

The Rock and Shawn Michaels are in the ring on opposite sides of a table, about to sign a contract to face each other in an upcoming match. The Rock signs it. HBK also signs it, but is immediately attacked by Rock, who drives the table into his ribs. Shawn Michaels is in trouble. Rock Bottom! The Rock walks off, having won this battle.

A New Day In WWE.

WWE owner Shane Day comes out to the ring.

Shane Day- I see Eric thinks he has alot of weight...well he's wrong. Aj Styles is NOT suspended, but we will NOT get a shot at Wrestlemania unless he earns it. And this Monday he has his chance. It will be a Elimination match between, The Rock vs. Kurt Angle vs. Randy Orton vs. Aj Styles. Thank you.

Where exactly is the creativity in copy & pasting directly from EWR?

While that annoys me it isn't the thing I dislike the most. It's the put-yourself-in-the-game-as-a-Vince-McMahon-type-owner. I hate that. Hate hate hate.

Also the one-line interviews really turn me off. I understand you want to summarize them but I don't think they should be done in that way. If you're going to summarize at least do it in third-person.

Evolution Shows Austin Whose Boss

Steve Austin is in the ring, when Evolution run down and hit the ring. On the command of Christian, they attack and do a beat-down. When Christian is satisfied with the beating, they back off and Christian grabs the mic.

Christian- Do you see what that was? That was a 3 on 1 attack on the toughest S.O.B in the WWEm Stone Cold Steve Austin. That's just a sign of things to come for anyone who pisses Evolution off. Edge, Batista, let's leave, that beating would make Triple H proud.

Chris Benoit vs John Cena.

Match Background: Order by Eric Bischoff as a request from Kurt Angle.

The Match: Running knee lift from John Cena. Full nelson slam on Benoit. Hooks the leg for a two count. Benoit blocks a kick from John Cena. Double arm suplex by Chris Benoit connects as Cena hits hard. Benoit slams John Cena down and motions to the crowd. Covers for a quick two count. Death valley driver by Chris Benoit! No one executes that move properly anymore. Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! Chris Benoit snap suplexes Cena HARD to the canvas! And again! A pair of clotheslines follow and...yep, Benoit is a HOUSE...EN...FUEGO~! John Cena once again takes the advantage after blocking a few punches and connecting with some forearms. Big piledriver on Benoit. Covers for a quick two count. John Cena scores with a standing spinebuster. Pin, but Benoit is out just before the three count. BIG clothesline on Benoit. Cena scoops and slams Chris Benoit. What's the difference between a scoop slam and a body slam anyway? Benoit backdrops John Cena out of a piledriver attempt. That took a lot out of Chris Benoit. BIG clothesline on Cena. Chris Benoit scores with a standing spinebuster. Kurt Angle comes running down the aisle and onto the apron! Cena turns...and is dropped throat-first onto the top rope by Angle! Kurt Angle has left Cena in big trouble. Chris Benoit floors John Cena. Crippler Crossface!!! John Cena taps out! Benoit and Angle tie John Cena up in the ropes, then start punching away at him until referees run down and break it up.

My Opinion: Smack dab in the middle of the star spectrum for an average match. **1\2.

The Champ Speaks

Chris Jericho is seen sitting in his lockerroom with his World Title by his side.

Chris Jericho- Aj, we're about 2 weeks away from the biggest event this company has ever seen, Wrestlemania XXI. Many people say you messed up your chance by attacking me with a ladder last week, but Mr. Day has changed your plans. SO if you win this fatal four way match, you still get a shot. And this time Aj, I will make sure you won't sneak your way out of this match. I'll make sure of that...

Eric makes a Wrestlemania Annoucment

Eric Bishcoff comes out from behind the curtain with no entrence music, and a very irrate look on his face. He gets in the ring, and grabs a microphone.

Eric Bischoff- With Wrestlemania on the horizon, only 2 matches have been signed, Chris Jericho vs. TBD, and The Rock vs. HBK Shawn Michaels, and if The Rock so happpens to win the 4 way match he will be pulling double duty. In addition to that we have two other Wrestlemania matches. Kurt Angle vs. John Cena, and Randy Orton vs. Eddie Gurrero vs. Rhyno for the US Title. And if either Kurt Angle or Randy Orton wins the four way match, they will pull double duty. Thank you.

Rhyno vs AJ Styles.

Match Background: This match is for the WWE Intercontinetal title. AJ Styles has been WWE Intercontinetal champion since 06 January 2005.

The Match: Rhyno walks into a high dropkick from AJ Styles, almost losing several teeth in the process. AJ Styles connects with a back heel kick on Rhyno and gets back up quickly. Rhyno takes a flying neckbreaker from AJ Styles. THERE IT IS! A legdrop to the BACK OF THE HEAD! I swear, that makes any match just a little bit better. I don't mind telling you that every time I see it, that's for sure. Rhyno powers out of a headlock. Running knee lift from Rhyno. Spear by Rhyno. There's a two count on the pin. AJ Styles fights out of a grapple. Spinning bulldog in the corner and Rhyno is down! There's a two count on the pin. Tiger suplex on Rhyno. No Misawa references from me, I swear. Oh, Bloody Hell! Pinfall attempt: ONE...TWO...NO! Styles goes for a splash but Rhyno puts the knees up. Styles gets slammed down hard and winces in pain. Styles counters a sleeper with a jaw breaker and is able to get free! Second rope flying axe handle, Rhyno goes down. One day, Styles might even consider coming off the top with that. You know...for more impact and stuff. Randy Orton comes running down the aisle with a chair! Styles whips Rhyno into the ropes. Orton jumps onto the apron with the chair! Collision between Orton, Rhyno, and the chair! Rhyno staggers back into a roll up! 1...2...3! It's over! Rhyno looks furious. The referee walks over...and gets blasted with a clothesline! Rhyno has lost it!

My Opinion: A badly blown spot prevents me from giving out more snowflakes. ***3/4

Rock Hits Rock Bottom

The Rock is in the ring. Shawn Michaels comes out, and attacks. Shawn Michaels gets the upper hand. The Rock is in trouble. Rock Bottom!!! That shook the ring. Shawn Michaels stole the finisher of The Rock and used it on him!

HBK Shawn Micahaels- 2 years ago, I told another young lion this when I was going to face him at Wrestlemania XIX, get ready Rocky, because I'm coming for a FIGHT

Randy Orton vs. Kurt Angle vs. The Rock vs. Aj Styles

Match Background: #1 Contenders match for the World Heavyweight Title at Wrestlemania. Y2J promises Aj Styles will win.

Bodyslam by Orton. Angle takes a headbutt from Randy Orton. Hooks the leg : 1....2....shoulder up. Tag between Randy Orton and The Rock. Big backdrop on Angle, executed well. Angle walks into a side choke slam. Hooks the leg : 1....2....shoulder up! That was close. Tag between The Rock and AJ Styles. AJ Styles hits a rolling kick on Angle. Angle tags out to Randy Orton. Really cheap plug. Well done. But seriously if you want to read a diary my SD! one (link in my sig) is far superior to both of yours. I'm not being big-headed but it is, you have to admit.

And while you're all at it, go check out mine as well. It has quite a lot of history built up already, and I have a big pay-per-view in the works.

I mostly copy and paste the EWR match results, but it's just because I'm too lazy to write something unique for all the matches. I write out all the interviews and angles in depth though, so I feel I redeem myself.

And for the record, The C Man's Smackdown diary isn't superior to both combined. Plague's is unconventional and daring and Ice Classic is just getting started. But let's not get carried away, these diaries are our ways of being creative with something that we're all passionate about. It's not a contest and let's just be sure that if we're going to comment on each other's diaries, it's going to be constructive feedback and not negative criticism. There's no need for that.

I think you'll find it is.

I'm guessing you didn't detect the lack of seriousness then? I wasn't being serious, just some egotistical-I'm-better-than-you comedy.

My apologies. I tend to mistake everything for fighting after a full day of school :bonk:

I think the best thing we can do overall is for all of us to read one another entries and comment.
