Guest Staravenger Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 Am I the only one getting annoyed by idiot kids screaming every five seconds for the past 135 minutes?
Guest Anglesault Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 Good call also. Huge hit for Posadaizzle. Posa-what? Which umpire was it? I noticed Tim McClellan is the second base umpire, and he is HIGHLY respected as an umpire.Fieldin Culbreth
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted September 26, 2004 Author Report Posted September 26, 2004 I'm actually not familiar with him. I knew McClellan, and first base umpire Jim Wolf is the brother of Phillies pitcher Randy Wolf.
Guest Staravenger Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 Whats with this NESN dude interviewing drunk idiots who keep saying the Red Sox will win the World Series? I hear the same crap for the last 13 years, and to my knowledge, the Red Sox haven't won a World Series in those years. Actually, they haven't won a World Series in my entire families lifetime...which warms my heart.
Bruiser Chong Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 You always hear about the amazing defensive plays Jeter makes, but you never hear about all the errors he commits on routine plays.
Guest Staravenger Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 Quantrill saves the day...finally.
Guest Staravenger Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 You always hear about the amazing defensive plays Jeter makes, but you never hear about all the errors he commits on routine plays. Cairo threw the ball away from where Jeter was standing, so it's not like he fucked up on a routine ground ball headed right to him.
Guest Anglesault Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 Why couldn't they leave Millah in?
Brett Favre Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 You always hear about the amazing defensive plays Jeter makes, but you never hear about all the errors he commits on routine plays. Which have been very, very rare this year.
Guest Anglesault Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 Just think. If Millar was in there, he would have made a diving attempt in the opposite direction. If Ortiz was in, he would have fell down. DAMN YOU Mintejehrvrweew0veitz!
Brett Favre Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 Just think. If Millar was in there, he would have made a diving attempt in the opposite direction. And now Manny is batting. It was a good game.
Guest Anglesault Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 Well, we still have a top of the ninth.
Guest Staravenger Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 Guess who's back on my "shit list"?
Guest Anglesault Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 I'm pretty calm. I would have liked to take the sweep and season series, but it's not top priority.
Bruiser Chong Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 Why walk Ortiz and then bring in Nitkowski? Why not just bring in Nitkowski to face Ortiz, who is awful at hitting lefties?
Brett Favre Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 Nitkowski is horrible at pitching, so it wouldn't matter. Torre gave in after that Ramirez double.
Guest Anglesault Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 Why walk Ortiz and then bring in Nitkowski? Why not just bring in Nitkowski to face Ortiz, who is awful at hitting lefties? Because our lefty is Nitkowski?
Guest Anglesault Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 Torre waved the white flag in this game WAY too early, but whatever. Just lick our wounds and get ready for Schilling vs. Brown.
Guest Staravenger Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 If the Yankees make a comeback I'll eat mud for breakfast for the next month.
Bruiser Chong Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 When the Yankees' pen can't get the game to Gordon and Rivera, you realize how horrible they are. George needs to stop spending all the bucks for the big bats and aging starting pitching, and get some arms down there.
Brett Favre Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 When the Yankees' pen can't get the game to Gordon and Rivera, you realize how horrible they are. George needs to stop spending all the bucks for the big bats and aging starting pitching, and get some arms down there. Dude, Torre could have put Gordon in there if he felt like it, right after Quantrill. He was doing what T-Francona was doing, and saving his arms. They're so horrible, that they're in first place.
Guest Anglesault Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 If you want to place blame for this loss, it's all on Javy. We never should have been in that position
Guest Staravenger Posted September 26, 2004 Report Posted September 26, 2004 Who's the Yankees daddy?
