The words 'Genesis V' appear at the bottom of the Smarktron.

A short clip plays of the Hardcore Gamers' Title match. A different angle than what viewers saw last Sunday shows the springboard dropkick Austin Sly hit on champion Sean Davis. Rather than a wide angle shot, this camera was ringside, and looks right into Davis's face as he knee buckles from the force of Sly's kick. Sean's facial features are contorted with pain, but his teeth are gritted as he rises to his feet.

Fast forward just a few moments, and another camera stationed at ringside gets a close up view of Davis's horrific Cyclone Driver on Austin Sly. The man behind the lens zooms in as Sean drops to his knees, then releases Sly to fall aside, clutching his knee. He'd landed on it funny, aggravated the tendons and ligaments that were already twisted from the dropkick.

The Smarktron blacks out for a moment, to the hearty booing of the crowd. A scene backstage appears, in the Arrowhead Pond's training room and doctor's office. The imposing figure of Sean Davis now appears.. smaller and innocent as he sits on the examining table. The Hardcore Gamers' Champion and one half of the Tag Team Champion has one sweat pant leg rolled up past his knee. The crowd upstairs continues to show their true feelings for the double champ.

"Look at all that shiny gold, Comet!" instructs Bobby Riley, referring to Marcus Washington, who stands behind Davis, holding the belts belonging to his client.

"Citizen Davis doesn't seem to be celebrating his wins at Genesis like he should be, Bobbo," comments Comet. "He spent the night in a Pasadena hospital, Sunday, having an MRI taken of his knee and CAT scans on his fool head! The Hardcore Gamers' Champion AND one half of the Tag Team Champions, Citizen Davis needed six stitches over his right eye, but only ended up with bruising in his knee. The doc ordered some rest for the champ, but I wonder how Commissioner Zenon will take that.. "

The doctor finishes wrapping Sean's knee with an ace bandage. "I'll say it again, Sean. You got lucky as far as your knee goes." The former football player just nods and the doc continues, "Those stitches can come out next week, before Lockdown. I'll recommend to the commish that you hold off on hardcore matches-"

"Objection," interrupts Marcus. "My client is more than prepared to handle any opponents Commissioner Zenon has for his Hardcore Gamers' Title or the Tag Team Titles."

The doctor answers with a smirk at Washington, "Overruled. Zenon knows that when I say no, it means no. Obviously, no action tonight, Sean," the doc begins as he looks at his patient. "Lockdown will be up to you and how you feel."

A knock focuses all three men's attention to the door, where Spike Jenkins makes an appearance. The crowd in the Arrowhead Pond boos the other half of the SWF Tag Team Champions, but he can't hear them, or chooses not to. "Hey, Sean, man.. get your big ass off that table and let's go. Toxx's gone balls to the wall for our all night GOLD party! And I have a surprise for you!" Spike taunts.

Davis is seen raising a brow in surprise as he shoves his pant leg back down around his ankle. Sean slides off the table as Marcus tilts his head in jest, "Aww, you're so sweet, Spike."

Spike Jenkins appears on screen, to the booing of the California crowd. He leads Sean Davis into a big conference type room, where golden balloons drift along the ceiling, and streamers line the walls. The room is dim, and a disco ball in the corner spins, throwing small lights all around. The DJ stand is right underneath the disco ball, and he moves with his dance beats, earphones over one ear. He looks up as Spike shouts a hello and waves. The DJ points over toward Toxxic, who stands at the small bar, sipping from a glass of Coke while chatting it up with Brian Dennehy. He motions up with his glass to his girlfriend, the wet'n wild Jet, who thrashes on the bar, throwing her long black dreads around to the latest techno dance tune. A bottle of rum has a home in her hand, and she occasionally pauses to take a swig from the jug. Sean shakes his head and steps toward the throng of people, all drinking and talking amongst themselves.

Spike grabs Sean by the elbow and pulls him farther into the room. "You've got to meet these guys!" he says excitedly. Jenkins heads up to Scott Baio and presents Davis. "Sean, this is Scott Baio, known for his awesome work in 'Charles in Charge'.. " Sean can barely nod a 'hello' before Spike pulls him away again. Spike continues, "And here's Dolph Lundgren, you probably remember him from Universal Soldier."

Dolph pauses for a moment, taking his eyes away from Jamie Kennedy to smile and shake Sean's hand. Kennedy gives Spike a quick 'thank you' look and slips away toward the bar. Jenkins snickers and pulls Sean away again, leading him to Charlene Tilton. "And the most beautiful woman here.. " Spike starts, smiling broadly at Charlene. "This is Charlene Tilton. You ought to recognize this lovely face." Charlene grins and winks at Davis, then shakes his hand.

"No, I don't know where J.R. is," she says with a laugh. Spike joins in on the joke, and Davis just furrows his brow. Jenkins leads Sean to the bar, leaving him next to Toxxic. The Straight Edge Sensation breaks in his conversation with Dennehy to shake hands with Davis and welcome him to the party.

"Grab a drink, enjoy," the leader of Revolution Zero instructs, giving Sean his trademarked lopsided grin before returning to Brian. Spike nudges Davis, "Relax, man."

Sean glances at Jenkins, looking somewhat uncomfortable. "Was this your surprise?" The big man is obviously disappointed, despite the list of stars attending the Revolution Zero party. Spike just smirks and shakes his head. "You just wait," he instructs, then raises a hand into the crowd. "I've got to hit up Eliza Dushku with a special 'Hollywood' hello." Jenkins scurries off, leaving Davis alone at the bar. He turns to the bartender, contemplating a drink.

A hand brushes over his back, then travels down his side and rests around his waist. A soft, sensual voice croons, "Can I buy you a drink?" Sean recognizes that voice and abruptly turns to face the woman of his dreams, the love of his life, Rashelle Moore. "Rashelle!" he jubilantly exclaims, grasping the small, petite figure in his bearish arms and twirling her around in excitement! As Davis sets his woman's feet on the floor, he drowns out her hello in a deep and welcomed kiss.

"Way to go, Sean!" shouts Spike! The call arouses a chorus of laughter from the party goers, and a couple whistles from those capable. Davis eases up, obviously flustered from the attention. Rashelle only beams brightly at Sean, then takes his hand and leads him toward the door. As they pass Toxxic, the Englander pats Davis on the shoulder and winks, signaling a job well done.

The party was only starting.

Sean Davis and Rashelle Moore are seen cuddling together on the king size bed of their hotel room. He is bare chested and she wears a large T-shirt as a nightshirt. The couple holds hands as they talk intimately.

"I couldn't wait for you to come to Chicago to see me, so I flew into California two days ago. Spike ran into me at Arrowhead, so he asked me to help surprise you tonight," Rashelle explains with a smile. Sean smiles in return, running his fingers gently along Rashelle's cheek. She closes her eyes and leans into Sean's hand, then continues, "It really hurt to see you in that Hardcore match." Rashelle looks up at Davis, concern etched over her face. "I'm going to quit school and travel with you," she states.

Davis's smile turns upside down, but only slightly. He shakes his head. "You can't do that." Rashelle opens her mouth to retaliate, 'yes, I can' written all over her lips and eyes. "Rashelle.. if you start coming along with me in the SWF, you'll become a target. Guilty by association. I know you're concerned about my well-being in this sport, and you know I'd love to have you with me all the time. I just couldn't live with myself if.." Sean pauses to rethink what he's trying to say. "You see what happened to me out there?" Davis motions by rolling his eyes up, pointing out his stitches. "That could just as easily happen to you. I know you're a big girl, and you could take care of yourself, but some of these guys.. they just don't care."

Rashelle sits up, turning to face Davis while sitting Indian style. "I want to be here with you, to keep an eye on you, to stitch you up.. " her voice falters and her eyes glass over. Sean pulls himself up and then grabs Rashelle in a hug. "I don't want you to get into trouble again," she murmurs.

Davis tightens his arms around Rashelle, deeply breathing in the smell of her hair, and letting his skin memorize the feeling of her body against his. "I'm actually safer here than I would be anywhere else. Here I can be angry and not draw any attention. If you were to start traveling with me.. this business.. it'll change you, 'shelle." Sean pulls away to look into Rashelle's green eyes. "It'll taint you with hatred and anger.. I don't think you want that to happen, do you?"

Rashelle shakes her head no. "But what about you? I mean.. the stitches, your knee.. "

"Both accidents. I just wasn't ready in the ring. I had the tag match on my mind when I should have been focused on Sly. It won't happen again," answers Sean.

"You can't promise me that."

Davis nods. "You're right, I can't. But I can promise you that if you start traveling with me, it's more likely to happen than if you were safe at home." Sean smiles wryly and leans forward, pushing Rashelle back to the pillow. "With you around, I can't seem to stay focused on anything.. "

"We're not done talking about this, mister," Rashelle warns.

Sean reaches across toward the lamp. "For tonight, we are."

If you were waiting for a PM back from me before you sent these in Jackie - sorry, I forgot to mention that I wouldn't have net access Friday due to travelling back to my mum's straight after work.

I'd just like to point out that Revolution Zero are heels WITH FEELINGS! Damnit, we have personalities and insecurites! We are real people!

Well, except for Spike. The moment Spike puts up a promo about Hollywood being anything but an air-headed moron I think I'll have to fire him. I've always liked Bill and Ted, and now I've got them both rolled into one...
