Guest Black Tiger Posted September 27, 2004 Report Posted September 27, 2004 I wonder who exactly in Japan, did the Jarrett's piss off, in order to get Inoue sent over. I'd heard a while back that TNA wanted KENTA and Marufuji, and instead they get shafted by Inoue.
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted September 27, 2004 Report Posted September 27, 2004 I was thinking the same thing. What kind of crap should we expect to see out of this deal? Who is he going to be working with?
SinToxic Posted September 27, 2004 Report Posted September 27, 2004 well at least Japan got Noble (just signed dates for New Japan for the next month's tour) so it's more than a fair trade. I understand why they didnt give out Kenta and Maru but I would think they would try to sneak Kotaru Suzuki in since he is their least loved junior in the company. Btw, Noble will be teaming with Am-dragon for most of the matches.
Guest Black Tiger Posted September 27, 2004 Report Posted September 27, 2004 At least getting Suzuki would have been getting something, because he's actually got some, you know, GOOD in him. I don't think I've ever seen anything decent, where Inoue did anything worthwhile (other than the job ).
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted September 27, 2004 Report Posted September 27, 2004 I would totally agree about Suzuki would be getting something that could potentially be good, unlike Inoue who pretty much brings the suck every match. On another note, Noble/Amdrag tag team is pretty swank..........
Your Paragon of Virtue Posted October 6, 2004 Report Posted October 6, 2004 I never watch TNA or NJPW these days, but I would've tuned in if all of a sudden ENSON~! decided to step into the world of professional wrestling. I always assume that all Japanese fighters have done at one point or another and can go back to it. Alas, it was not to be.
Jingus Posted October 8, 2004 Report Posted October 8, 2004 Why does this surprise anyone? TNA has never exactly brought in the best Japanese talent. Check out the list of previously-used puro guys: Takao Omori (who apparently couldn't job to Shamrock when he was champion), a bunch of Osaka Pro comedy guys in pokemon outfits, and Kenzo Fucking Suzuki. Inoue isn't that much worse than any of the others.
Guest Black Tiger Posted October 8, 2004 Report Posted October 8, 2004 Don't forget Miyamoto or Hijikata, during the world X Cup. Those are both very good wrestlers.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted October 8, 2004 Report Posted October 8, 2004 They brought Barton in for a couple of shows as well and he had a really good match with Saturn I believe.
