B. Brian Brunzell 0 Report post Posted October 4, 2004 I'm a HUGE Mike Ness fan. I think he's the greatest thing to ever happen to punk. And after eight long years, Social D is back. Has anyone heard it yet? I know I'll be picking it up, but I wanted other opnions on the matter first. --Brunzell
Guest JRE Report post Posted October 5, 2004 So...just bought it, it's only my second SD album- I'm making a nice effort to get into them to give justification to wearing my badass Social Distortion shirt. I listened to the first 4 tracks on the drive home- all sounded great- "Footsteps on my Ceiling" stuck out the most to me.
Guest combat_rock Report post Posted October 5, 2004 Yeah, it's a really good CD, but then, I mark out for everything Social D. It sounds like it'll be more "radio friendly" than their other records though, so take that how you will.
Guest Dynamite Kido Report post Posted October 5, 2004 WTF? Social D has a new album? I have no clue why I didn't know that.........

"I Was Wrong" was all over the radio and MTV when it was released in '96. And radio-friendly Social D can't be bad. After all, it's NESS.
Guest combat_rock Report post Posted October 6, 2004 Yeah, but wait untill you hear "Footprints On My Ceiling", "Highway 101", and "Nickles and Dimes". Not that it's a bad thing (and I'd be happy if they did well).
