I simply cannot see the Twins handling the Yanks bats at all this series. They're starting in New York, which will either bring out the absolute best or WORST in Santana.

I hate to say it but I'm rooting for the Yankees because it would seem anti-climatic if it wasn't Sox/Yanks in the ALCS.

With that said, this is make it or break it for Santana. He's got TONS of pressure tonight and if he chokes, I think he loses the Cy Young Award (and I know it's suppose to be about regular season, but be serious).

Santana loses one of his games, Yanks take the series.

Don't they decide the Cy Young award winner before the playoffs start, and just not announce it until later?

Anyway, I think the Twins should be able to win tonight if Santana goes 7+ innings. And although they lose some defense with Rivas being out, Cuddyer has been hitting the hell out of the ball.

My prediction: Twins in 5 games.

I'm sorry, I can't put a guy who bats Bernie Williams ahead of Posada and Matsui in the Hall of Fame, I don't care how many rings he has.

What?

Thats like saying you couldn't put Manny in the HOF because he bats ahead of Ortiz. That's like saying you can't put A-Rod in the HOF because he bats ahead of Sheff.

Even though I don't believe Bernie will get into the HOF, thats not a reason for him not to.

EDIT: My mistake, you meant Torre.

And your wrong again anyway.

I know I'm not good at judging these thing, but it looked to me like he wasn't hustling at all to get home. It look like that to anyone else? Or am I just wierd.

Most Yankee fan would be pissed right now, but I'm not.

I mean, even though we couldn't get a run in the 2nd, EVERYTHING was hit hard. Rubens and Olerud's were sharp hits, just right at people.

I don't think anyone believes 1 run is enough to beat those bats.

Oh my god, what in the fuck was that?

Well now I know what this Scooter thing is everyone was bitching about. Holy crap is that lame.

And honestly, how many hard hit balls can the Yankees hit that go DIRECTLY to a Twin fielder.

Hopefully 15 more.
