Weirdest Choices for Wrestling Themes

Recommended Posts

Since liscenced music is regularly used on the indies, there's been some odd choices of entrance music in the past.

Name some of those, or even WWE-made songs. Or, be creative and offer some songs that would be peculiar for someone to enter the building to.

I don't know why, but I really want to hear someone enter to "Pump it Up" by Elvis Costello.

I'd go nuts if someone came out to 'Move Your Feet' by Junior Senior.

Oddest actually used? Eugene Dinsmore's original theme, which was played only once against his Conway match.

One of my friends comes out to A little Less Conversation.

He does it because he is a dork.

Also a Heel Tag Team comes out to Beautiful Day by U2

There's a team in Montreal that came out to Phil Collins' In The Air Tonight.

Beat that.

That seems like a pretty good theme song to me, actually.

One of the boys in our fed (great look, lots of talent) told us he was going to use "We will rock you" as his entrance. We thought that was fine, until he hit the ring and it turned out he was using the Five version and not Queen's...

Needless to say, he was forced to use another song from then on.

How did they determine who would use the theme that would be eventually used by the Heavenly Bodies & the New Foundation? It sounds like it'd be alright for Jim The Anvil Neidhart, but sounds awkward when Pritchard, Del Ray, or Owen Hart would come down to it. It would have worked out better for the short lived WCW team of The Men at Work.

No, it'd have to be Overkill by Men at Work.

That's good for goofy characters though. It helps get it over before they even hit the ring.

Jimmy Jacobs coming out to the theme for Fraggle Rock was a weird choice, as he could've stuck with "The Touch" and still gotten over as a goofy face, "In Your Eyes" for Jimmy as well.

One of the workers for a local promotion came out to the "This Is Your Left" song from Aqua Teen Hunger Force for one show only. That was one of the funnier things I've seen lately.

We have an indy guy here, who is white, playing "Balls Nakanaka" and he comes out wearing a geisha girl wig, has his eyes taped into a slant, carries the Korean Flag, and the music is "Turning Japanese"

Hilariously Offensive.
