Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 a. The Pats are amazing but right now they are playing the antithesis of them. The Dolphins are bad. b. Is Roethlisberger the steal of the draft so far? Will he end up being better than Eli Manning? c. Will Collins turn the ball over 5 times again? d. Who is for real: Atlanta or Detroit? e. Seahawks are laughing because they are in the worst division
KingPK Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 Brady's having a sub-par game, and the Fins' D is getting through. If Miami actually had an offense, they would be going places (and might be winning this game). But they don't, so they aren't, and they won't.
Guest Vitamin X Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 I'm subject to watch the most miserable offense in the NFL every week thanks to living in Miami. I'm starting to already look towards the offseason.. The Dolphins need a Giant-like haulover to make them contenders again. I think they need obviously, a good quarterback and a good running back. Bring in some rookies if necessary trhrough the draft, Miami's basically guaranteed a high draft pick the way the season's going anyways. They need to fire Wannstedt and bring in a better coach. Perhaps Nick Saban will come up in the annual offseason talks. And someone fix that o-line, pronto. OK, they just really need a whole brand new offense.
KingPK Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 If I were the Dolphins, I'd do everything in my power to get Edgerrin James, since it's highly unlikely the Colts can resign him. ......the Dolphins scored a TD? *Awaits the Apocalypse*
razazteca Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 Cowboys vs Giants is a classic slow pace yard position game with the running game dominating the offense. Not really excited that this is the only game on tv at the moment.
2GOLD Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 BIG BEN with a throw and a HALF for a Steelers touchdown. Scrambling and off one foot hits a wide open Burress for a 37 yd pass. That was nice. Pittsburgh is now up 24-10.

Scrambling and off one foot hits a wide open Burress for a 37 yd pass. That was nice. Pittsburgh is now up 24-10. I told you all. All of you. Raiders should've drafted him. He's the real deal. Now the Steelers have him, and I like the Steelers, so it all equals out.

Actually, I didn't get in on the BIG BUST bs. If anyone is going to be a bust, I think it's going to be Eli. Sorry, but eventually the talent skips.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 Big Ben is going to easily be the best QB from this years draft.
razazteca Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 Big Ben is throwing the ball to the wrong person! Damn it why does Plexico Burress has 120 yards?
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 Big Ben is throwing the ball to the wrong person! Damn it why does Plexico Burress has 120 yards? So he can spike a live ball for the third time in his career?
KingPK Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 Well, there's Miami's usual fuckup. Matt Turk seemingly tried a fake punt run on his own and turned the ball over. And Sammy Knight punches David Givens, giving the Pats 15 yards.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 Vick is looking pretty bad against the Lions so far.
razazteca Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 Fumble by Witten! Giants get the ball midfield.
2GOLD Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 Too bad Brady can't seem to pump himself up for games with teams below .500
2GOLD Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 Vick is looking pretty bad against the Lions so far. Vick hasn't looked good this season. His defense however has been fantastic. But of course, Vick will get all the credit because he is the NFL Golden Boy. A QB rating of 81.5 does not impress me.
KingPK Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 And Sammy Knight kills any Dolphin momentum with that penalty as the Pats get another TD (with Givens burning Knight for the catch).

Thankfully he's out of excuses this season as he has an offense now but it's stunning that he isn't taking heat for refusing to play within the west coast offense. I don't see how anyone can buy into him if he doesn't get over 200 yds. passing more than once or twice this season.
razazteca Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 Maybe the Falcons should trade for Kordell Stewart and make Michael Vick -- Slash V2.0. The Falcons could use the University of Tennessee concept of 2 QBs!

I don't see how anyone can buy into him if he doesn't get over 200 yds. passing more than once or twice this season. Vick is not allowed to take heat. I've seen people who have given him full credit for all the Falcon wins this season. The guy has four turnovers this season, he has only scored 2 tds and he's been sacked 11 times which is FOURTH in the NFL. He's not even completing 60% of his passes. Damn, if Leftwich gets no credit for the Jags when he is actually winning the games in the end then I don't understand how Vick is getting all the credit for Atlanta when he is doing nothing.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 ESPN likes flashy plays and don't really care about anything else. I mean he took little heat for the 9-6-1 season when the team fell apart at the end and couldn't do anything inside the 20. He'll probably live off of that win over the Packers for his whole career.
razazteca Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 Dunn is the reason the Falcons are winning games.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 At the half, BenRo has thrown for 200 yards.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 New Orleans is getting beat up by Tampa Bay right now. Wonder if Hasslett will survive another disappointing season?
2GOLD Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 New Orleans is getting beat up by Tampa Bay right now. Wonder if Hasslett will survive another disappointing season? No chance does he survive. There is no longer an excuse for this team being like this.
Guest Astro Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 *Drunken;ly wishes packers were on* *Has more Vodka*
2GOLD Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 New England trying very hard to lose. Nevermind, the defense slammed them in the Red Zone. Hello longest winning streak ever record
mike546 Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 Giants are 4-1. How the hell did this happen?
Slayer Posted October 10, 2004 Report Posted October 10, 2004 My score updater shows that Houston just tied up on Minnesota Thus demonstrating a big problem with the Vikings... it seems like when they play teams "beneath them", that when they get what they consider a good lead, they stop playing (see also: Arizona last year)
