Someone out there please feel free to add to this or make any corrections...

As far as I know, Dynamite got pretty bitter when the company that published his book belly up. He either got hardly any money for the book, or none at all. I remember him posting a little bit of a tirade on his site pretty much saying how he felt he had opened up to everyone and it wasn't worth it. Before too long, the site was gone.

It's really too bad because for a while when he was updating and answering people's questions on a regular basis, it was a pretty informative site. Not too many others had the insight on bot the the 1980's WWF scene AND 1980's Japan scene.

Anyone else?

Possibly has something to do with his recent health issues...the whole leg being gone situation.

His site and everything were gone way before all of this happened.

There was a story going around the UK forums recently - the legitimacy of which I can't remember being confirmed, sadly - that he'd had part or whole of a leg amputated, and/or had suffered a nasty accident in his wheelchair and was unwell. Again, I stress this is v. much unconfirmed, but if true it's just the latest sad twist in his story.

I did wonder if he'd be used at all at Raw or Smackdown in Manchester, even just watching from the front row and getting a namecheck or something (especially given he's from just up the road) but obviously there was no sign.

He's in my top five favorites of all time, as well as in my personal picks for "best" ever. I visited his site almost every single day, I loved going back and reading all of the past questions and answers as well as writing in to him myself.

Out of all of the websites that have went under, his is one that I'd like to see come back out of all of them.

I wish he could still take part in wrestling in one way or another, I really miss the guy.

he started getting really funny at the end and really ripped into davey boy when he died and just tore him to shreads and said he was glad he was dead

everyone gave him hell after that

i loved the site too, when you see recent pics of him you can't believe it's him! like the 1996 michinoku match, he looked like a different person
