Guest T®ITEC Report post Posted October 11, 2004 Actually it's just running super hot and the tray refuses to stay inside. But I'm getting very frustrated with CD-RWs and CD-Rs. I just had another CD-R stop responding last week. So, I guess the real question is: who sells inexpensive CD-RWs and/or CD-Rs? Can I buy them in a pack of 8? MrRant 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2004 Are you talking about the drive or the CD-ROM itself?
Guest T®ITEC Report post Posted October 11, 2004 Uh, I guess the CD-ROM itself. Sorry, I'm so not up on legitimate terminology. But I'm sure that both are going bad after so long (3 years).

Guest T®ITEC Report post Posted October 12, 2004 Pardon me, but what is buying blank CDs going to do if I can't use the burner? What I have right now is a very expensive drink holder. I can't even burn CDs now because as soon as I put in a CD, the drive ejects the disc. I try closing it, but it just opens up again. I try holding it closed, but it just continues to try and force itself out. I'm guessing there's no way to fix this, eh?
