Lefors for Heisman anyone?

It's still Kyle Orton at this point.

Fuck Stefan Lefors...

He used to play at Christian Life Academy, which was one of my district rivals in HS. They'd take ANYBODY, regardless of why they were kicked out of other schools... which is why I refer to them as Criminal Life Academy.

I feel his older brother was a better QB but, since he's deaf, he had few opportunities outside of high school.

You have no idea how shitty I feel right now. After going to a party with some rabid U of L fans and seeing us get up 24-7 at the half...then watching as we piss it all away in the 2nd half. Still, that was one of the best college games I have ever seen, just the totally wrong result.

Sadly, I knew the Miami comeback was coming. God, these guys are lucky as shit. U of L's guy had a surefire INT that would have sealed the game and just dropped it.

Anyway, we get them here next year and I can assure you the result in that game will be different.

Probably the worst thing to come out of this is that Brock Berlin will be tabbed as sort of Captain Comeback.

4th and 4 at the Louisville 8. This could be the ball game.

First down. Louisville is going to need a huge goal line stand to win now.

Touchdown Miami with 49 seconds left. Louisville has all three timeouts.

Louisville really should have called a TO before Miami ran it in. They wasted a good 20-30 seconds by not doing so.

Oh yeah. We made all sorts of stupid errors late in the game. Had a surefire INT on Berlin that would have sealed it...dropped it. From there I basically said "Well that just cost us this game." And yes, our time management late was horrible, as we seemingly dicked around and didn't use timeouts when Miami had 1st and goal inside the 5. The goofy thing about it is that let's say we stop them all 4 times and use the timeouts...from there we'd get the ball and kneel down.

Berlin is a QB that seems better when he doesn't have to think about it. 1st half he had to drop back from under center and all that and he sucked. 2nd half they were behind so he just got in the shotgun, did the hurry up, and did much better.

K-State was giving OU a game until they were dumb enough to slow themselves down with a bunch of Option plays. They were on the OU 25 already up 7-0, and a KSU fumble later it's 7-7.

Complaining aside, look for highlights from the Michigan St./Minnesota game. Great touchdown run from 43 yards out, and damn, Michigan State is up 21-3 in the first quarter.

Damn you Bill Synder! You're like OU's kryptonite.

If KSU were to win this game, I'd say KSU is slowly becoming the Michigan to OU's Ohio State (1990's version)

I'm telling you these guys just seem to know how to beat us. We could be hailed as the greatest team ever and they're just average and they still win......oh wait a minute.

This is a good game.

Oh well USC got tested 3 times and we need to be tested at least once. Which is good. We need it. Now Stoops will be whipping ass in practice and giving them what for.

I didn't think they had. Oh well. The way I see it, this is good for us SEC folk, bringing Auburn closer and closer to getting into the title game. Tennessee and Georgia are discounted because of their one loss, but Auburn still carries the hope for the conference to win two straight National Championships. The more highly-ranked teams that lose, the better.

Of course, Auburn has to beat Arkansas first, as well as Georgia.

Sayonara to the Top 25, Minnesota. How embarassing.

An additional thought: Is it just me, or are the two supposed Orange Bowl favorites both looking underwhelming thus far? They've had to really slug it out at times, instead of either being truly dominant and staking their claim.

Oh, and don't sleep on Miami as far as the Orange Bowl goes.
