Feedback for the 10/14 show

ACK-SHEW-UL FEED BACK!!!!!!!!

The cage match was mother fucking certifiable, man! On the straight up real shit. Tony must’ve lost his mind when he wrote that one. All kinds of brutal insane shit going down! Best segment I’ve read in a long time. Fucking out of control man! Get down with the get down, Tony!

MICHAEL COLE

blahblahablah...flavored condoms

WTF 4 REAL? Never meant to make your daughter cry I apologized a trillion times.

Onto the rest of the show. Very good. Strong show. I knew a Chris Stevens heel turn was coming, but that didn’t make it any less welcome. He beat up on his fellow OAOAST enhancement talent? Who the fuck does he think is? Just because he’s got an entrance video, he thinks he’s all big time! I was wondering when he’d start getting involved with his former jobber buddies. Mike Hunt needs some love. hehheheheheeee.

Crystal got into Hoff’s head tonight with some sound advice. I’m waiting for the skit where Hoff gets at Crystal by destroying the Coach. Although, I guess he’d be doing her a favor by smacking around the horny geek boy that salivates over her. But it would be like the Undertaker smacking up JR when he was feuding with Austin. If that never happened just ignore the previous sentence.

Vut else? That was cool with The Love Doctors jacking the Frankensteiners’ title shot. The Frankensteiners done been bitchedddddddddd! Fuck Wu-Tang. It’s the Love Doctors who ain’t nuthin to fuck wit. I was surprised that they lost. However their loss preserves the integrity of Gangsta or Wanksta.

Because of my psychic abilities I was able to see Ragdoll’s heel turn coming. Axel’s taken a lot of abuse. First getting a sledge hammer jammed in his face then getting fire spit in it. He needs a hug. *Hug*

Damn you Saint Louis for not building a domed stadium! Dharma and Greg won’t come until like three am because of the Cards game. Oh, I thought this was the e-mail I was writing.

NYU always looks for feedback, so Patty will provide him with what he seeks. I never know what to say about matches. Maybe that’s why I’m not rolling in pussy like my dawg Scott Keith! Good match that made both men look good, which is always important. NYU loves his spaces between counts. I love my Sugar free Cherry Jello. Anyway, this was a good piece of writing as well. NYU always does a good job of making his matches really dramatic if you dig me.

Speaking of drama, we got a good one in the main event. It culminated in the home town boy scoring a huge victory in front of his people! Swell ball! Papa and NYU should produce and awesome tie breaking match next week! Why I think it could be match of the year! The best match in HeldDOWN history! No pressure, though.

Newcomer, The Phenom had a nice debut promo. Short and sweet. Like me! Tee-heh!

Did I forget anybody?

That might be difficult.....considering that Drek and Panther won't be fighting next Thursday.

But there will be fallout! Oh, yes. Fallout, indeed.

Awesome show tonight. More thoughts later.

Just as a note to Patty: I really appreciate you putting Panther/Cappa on last. It gave the finals of the Round Robin tournament some real attention, and it set the stage nicely for next week. I wasn't expecting the Round Robin to have the final slot on the show, so I do appreciate that you did that. Thanks.

I appreciate the praise for the House of Pain cage match. I wanted to do something really brutal to Hell's Hitmen, to further intensifiy their feud with the NNMX, and carving somebody's head with a razor blade seemed pretty damn brutal. If The Sadist were a real wrestler, I think he'd be crazy enough to let another guy carve his forehead out like a pumpkin. Just ask Ric Flair what could happen when you let somebody else blade you. I believe Randy Savage did it twice, with the second one (Starrcade 1995) causing a big-time gusher on the "Nature Boy."

It also allowed me to set up GPX's feud for this month, since I wasn't sure if they'd be available.

Onto the feedback...

Good promo from Crystal and our soon-to-be OAOAST Champion Hoff, building up their mega match at MegaMania... I mean, World Without End. Because I feel like saying "mega" tonight...MEGA-POWERS! Never had a shit eating grin before, but I imagine it tastes like chicken. Wha...?

The Bruisin' or Cruisin'/Gangsta or Wanksta segment was awesome. I forgot if the segment is only for tag teams, but it does a great job putting the guys over.

If I hadn't read the spoilers first, I wouldn't have known Ragdoll was turning heel. Use spoiler tags! Yes, I want spoiler tags for a feedback thread. Really? No. I'm joking...until another big angle is ruined by people's carelessness. :P

Enjoyed the Stevens segment.

Another fine Saints promo, featuring Holly-Wood. But are we going to have women wrestle for 20 F'N minutes? When did this become HI-YAH? This is the OAOAST. The jungle, baby! If the FCC doesn't jump all over our ass for that, they will for having a women pull a knife on a wrestling show. Think about the bad influence we're sending the children. Think of the children.

::remembers what happens during the HOP cage match:: Whoops!

If the Thrillogy segment didn't prove they're 3 of the best promo guys in the business, nothing will. Translation: Good shit.

NY Untouchable once again brings the content. I know I've said it before, but the tournament has been well done.

The Love Doctors continue to show the world they're not just a couple of pretty boys -- they can be bad mother... I created the Frankensteiners for the #2 face tag team slot, but BAH GAWD, as J.R. would say, them boys need a win.

Interesting promo from The Phenom.

Very well done ME. I know I've said it before, but I'm saying yet again because I have nothing better to say: the tournament has been great.

I take care of those who take care of their's. We get ours.

The Bruisin' or Cruisin'/Gangsta or Wanksta segment was awesome

Oh stop! You're just saying that because I had Caboose say that Black T was the best tag team.

Well, considering that Hoff really wanted me to leave "Beff bak", I figured now would be a good time to post it.

-Really good opening segment with Hoff and Crystal. I liked Hoff bragging about his win over Crystal, only to be quickly put back in his place. Last week's Hoff/Crystal match, coupled with the interview from this week, has done a lot to build up a hot, original story to this match. Was Hoff simply off last week or does hehave the ability to wrestle better against Crystal? Was his rollup pin just a fluke, or was there intelligence behind it? Is he going to cave under the pressure of his first PPV World Title match or is he going to actually shake off his nerves and win the title? Great stuff being built here for the PPV.

-AMAZING coverup for the Gunner/Rodez match. Except it looks so familiar - jeez, whoever came up with that dialogue is a friggin genius.

-Interesting concept with the Tag Team analysis. This week's focus on GPX seemed to be spot-on as far as their personalities and their weaknesses go.

-Great segment with Axel/Ragdoll/Zack in the back. I loved the still-present tension between Zack and Ragdoll, and it successfully built the stage for Ragdoll's actions later on.

-Surprising, yet sensical, heel turn from Chris Stevens. To me, it finally feels like this guy has found the jealous, egotistical personality he had brewing in him the entire time. I like how the HI-YAH updates have intertwined into this angle, and it actually makes sense that Stevens would be disgusted over getting pushed to the side for events happening halfway across the globe. I really can't wait to see where this whole thing goes.

-I like where this Saints/Chicks Over Dicks scenario has led. The Trick or Treat match sounds really intriguing....even if I don't quite understand what the hell it involves yet. Holly has actually shown herself to be quite an interesting character, because she has this level of unpredictability to her. She's perfectly able to deal with arguments from the Saints and her record company, but actually gets somewhat homicidal when someone touches her. Crazy! I honestly have no idea where her match with Alix will go, and that's a good thing.

-Incredible stuff with the Tag Team division. Seriously. From the funny interview with GPX in the back to the hilarious repeating commentary from Jim Ross, the humor here worked incredibly well. Yet, it didn't overshadow the drama of what was happening here. That was just a sickeningly brutal beatdown the NNMX gave to Hell's Hitmen. The carving of "MX" onto the Sadist's forehead is just insane. The rage that Jingus and the Sadist showed afterwards was just amazing as well. Everything here was really fantastic.

-Nice backstage segment with Thrillogy. I love the growing tension between Zack and Hoff, and it's interesting to see how Calvin is trying his best to play the neutral middleman. I said it before and I'll say it again.....well, I probably didn't say it before, but it doesn't matter since I'm saying it now.....this relationship between Zack and Hoff doesn't seem like it's built to last. I wouldn't be surprised to see someone get kicked out of the group in the upcoming weeks. Great drama continuing to build here.

-Good stuff with Black T and the Love Doctors. It's nice to see the Docs finally get a personality, and actually seize an opportunity at the HIYAH Tag Titles. Will it lead anywhere? Probably not. Still good to see anyway. The match itself was fun, with Black T actually looking like they were being challenged with this upstart tag team. Perhaps this is just my opinion, but I think Los Infernales's rundown at the end of the match was pure coincidence, rather than on cue. If it were on cue, then that could mean wrestling is staged. And, as we all know, that just isn't true. Anyway, again, good stuff here leading into the HIYAH Tag Title match at World Without End.

-Fine opening vignette from the Phenom. It didn't say a whole lot, but it definitely made the character mysterious, and it built up a good sense of anticipation for his debut at W.W.E.

-Shocking heel turn from Ragdoll. Well, not too shocking, since I knew about it already. But if I hadn't known about it, I would surely have thought it to be shocking. The turn was just done incredibly well, partly in thanks to the segments between Ragdoll and Axel earlier in the night to establish their friendship. Drinking gasoline and spitting out a fireball? Insane. I can't wait to see what Axel does to retaliaite against the guy he actually brought back into the OAOAST. And is there a connection between Ragdoll and Zack now, despite the fact that they've disliked each other for a while now? Time will tell, I'm sure.

-Finally, great Main Event between Panther and the Mad Cappa. The layout was entertaining, the match itself had a crazy amount of action, and the slow heelish antics from Cappa throughout the process of the match were handled extremely well.

As a whole, I must say, I'm completely thrilled with how the Round Robin tournament turned out. KC, Papa, LPYC, Adam, and Cappa all did amazing jobs with this, and I thank them for putting forth so much effort. The concept seemed a little difficult to pull off at first - to remain consistent with the point totals and the match schedules every week - but it was pulled off almost flawlessly. I'm honestly thankful that the people involved in this Round Robin tourney worked so hard on it, and I'm 100% pleased with how it turned out. Awesome job everyone. I really do mean that.

There Hoff, there's your damn BEFF-BAK!! It's up to you now to feedback the show. Whether it's drunk Hoff or sober Hoff, I'll leave that up to you. Just make sure to include a lot of positive things about the Drek/Blurricane match. Constructive criticism be damned, I want compliments!

I had football and poker to watch and play. Plus I hate you.

So this week...good show.

Gangsta or Wanksta was pretty amusing. I marked for the COACHCALL~. Seriously, I really like this segment, as it makes the tag teem division seem all the more important. We've really arrived at an era with just a bunch of great teams, and that's cool when you consider the state of affairs a few months ago.

I knew something was up with the Malibu/Ragdoll scene, but I didn't know what. I mean I knew Rags wasn't making his way into the 3logy, but I didn't see what was actually coming, either. But this was a cool segment. I liked Zack making fun of Ragdoll's past additions, it was perfectly in character.

I'd like to thank PFL for being easy to work with, as the stuff we've done has been a bit of a juggling act as far as coordination but I know he'll have his shit in and it'll be good. So, thanks Tom.

Cute little promo with the Saints and Holly, outlining what should be an innovative and fun match at WWE. I also love Holly's quirk. Stuff like that keeps people interested.

Tony...wow. I mean, you took this brilliant, funny piece of writing, and turned it into something sick. I loved it. I LOVED it. Just amazing. I went from laughing to being horrified in one segment, and it actually...MADE SENSE! Give yourself a fucking pat on the back, man.

COLE

Fans, Michael Cole back with you, and what a chaotic mess we witnessed. If you just joined us...

CABOOSE

You're goddamn stupid for missing all this crazy sh--

O Price of Italy, you stole a spot I wanted to use for the WWE Title Match. I won't say which one, but know that I am most displeased. :( But good match, though. You know I love the details, and I was very glad you worked Leah in. I laughed at the nod to TSM, and I LOVED the nod to Hoff (the next World's Champ-ine, don'tcha know), but this was also a good, tight little match that showcased Drek's brutality and Blur's resilience and fighting spirit. Excellently done.

The Black T/Love Doctorms match was another tight little contest with a lot of action. The Docs looked like real contenders tonight, and that's a good thing. I'm still not sure about the characters...but I wasn't sold on the Muses at first, either. I'm sure this will grow on me as well, and having another team more prominently in the mix is good.

Cool first promo for the Phenom, showing us not all of what to expect, but a glimpse. Intriguing is the best word for it.

GREAT little skit between Axel and Ragdoll, totally making you think what came next wasn't coming. And....

GREAT heel turn by Ragdoll, and the motivation made sense. Ragdoll seems more serious, more focused than in the last run, which is dangerous. I liked Zack's reaction.

Super-hot main event, with Cappa doing a great job of walking the line between playing the face and the heel. Great, HOT finish with a lot of near falls, and just an engrossing piece of writing. Nice, nice stuff.

So yeah overall good show, mates.

TY to the feedbackers so far and any additional comments pour moi are appreciated!
