NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2004 on Amazon they have it, but I can't find a rating on there. I have seen the R rated and the Unrated version, but I also heard there is an original international version out there somewhere(not sure if it is on DVD yet). I also know the movie goes by "Brain Dead" in other countries.
Guest Mindless_Aggression Report post Posted October 15, 2004 Well I have the US Uncensored version and it's pretty bare bones, I do believe it has a trailer, but no knowledge if thats the version with all of the footage in tact or not. No obvious cuts that I've seen in it though, which is nice.

If one of the pictures is someone getting their ribcage pulled out, then it is the uncensored version. That and it should say, "Unrated" at the bottom. BlackFlagg 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2004 The one on amazon ins Unrated but it's not uncut, the one on amazon has a run time of 97 minutes, the uncut version is 104 minutes and isn't available in the US. If ya have a region free player that can play PAL discs there's this one http://www.xploitedcinema.com/dvds/dvds.asp?title=611 I don't think any of the DVD releases of it have much in the way of special features. UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2004 I have the version with the guy getting his ribcage pulled out. It's at the TOP of the back of the box. And it kicks ass....for the LORD.
AboveAverage484 0 Report post Posted October 16, 2004 Yes, unrated kicks ass. As far as features go, it's pretty bare bones. No commentary, etc. Still, Dead Alive on DVD kicks ass.
