Actually, one can make an argument about that.

 

Kerry says that the current plan will require a draft. Yes, it's pure bullshit, but still...

 

Given that Kerry, apparently, believes that a draft will be necessary if we stay in Iraq --- how does he plan on increasing troop numbers as much as he wishes to et al WITHOUT a draft?

 

By not having troops in Iraq. It's the ONLY possible option.

 

Now, I KNOW a draft is not only not needed, it's not wanted --- but if one accepts Kerry's LOGIC, there aren't a lot of alternatives.

 

And Kerry is STILL talking about getting troops out in 6 months.
