2GOLD 0 Report post Posted October 17, 2004 In the battle of bad teams, the Dolphins lose yet again after giving up 10 points to the Bills in the third quarter. 20-13 Buffalo.

2GOLD 0 Report post Posted October 17, 2004 For those that don't know, Bryon Leftwich did it AGAIN. TD with :52 seconds remaining and the Jags come from behind late AGAIN and win the game. 22-16. Unbelievable.

NYU 0 Report post Posted October 17, 2004 Next week: The 5-0 Jets taking on the 5-0 Patriots to determine first place in their division. Should be exciting.
KingPK 0 Report post Posted October 17, 2004 Only the Patriots could commit a interference penalty in the end zone with no time left, and then stuff the team on the one yard line anyway to kick that one last bit of sand in their face. They now have tied the "official" consecutive wins streak (regular season only) with 17.

2GOLD 0 Report post Posted October 17, 2004 Remember the Titans? Yeah, remember when they were good last year? Well, that seems to be fading. Titans lose to the Texans AT the Coliseum! By ten points no less, 20-10. McNair was picked off not once, not twice but FOUR TIMES. Amazingly bad performance by him and the Titans paid for it.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted October 17, 2004 McNair is done for. All those injuries caught up with him and he just can't get it done. Like Green Bay, Tennesee better be looking at a new QB after this season.
Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted October 17, 2004 Sean Salsbury dies a little inside each time McNair throws an INT.

Like Green Bay, Tennesee better be looking at a new QB after this season. You're kidding right? Green Bay was supposed to be the offense of Ahman Green and he's got butterfingers. Today he ran for a miserable 81 yards on 21 carries. Brett Farve is far from done. Christ, his brother in law DIED last week. Unlike when his father died, this time his wife was a mess and he was more concerned with her than beating the Titans. If Green had did his job then the Packers would be fine. Ahman Green and the defense are the ones not doing their jobs, not Brett Farve. Packers are fine.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted October 17, 2004 I know that, but Favre is going to retire either this off-season or next season, It wouldn't hurt to get the replacement ready. I know Favre can still go, but you can't deny the inevitable.
Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted October 17, 2004 Jake Plummer seems to be the Broncos' own worst enemy. They gave up Brian Griese and shelled out a ton of money for this? How many weeks now have we been saying the Broncos win despite Plummer's superhuman efforts to lose?

I know Favre can still go, but you can't deny the inevitable. Farve is still easily one of the five best quarterbacks in the NFL. He still has at least two more seasons in him and can still get the Super Bowl. The defense NEEDS to get better and Ahman needs to start playing like Ahman again. If the Packers need a QB, the draft this season will be a great chance. Plenty of talented QBs coming out this year but I think they have bigger issues than at QB. Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted October 17, 2004 At least we can all laugh at the Giants and Chargers for making a big deal out of Manning/Rivers when Big Ben is going to easily be better than either.

And they have bigger needs than QB to waste the high pick on one. The Bills have been killing themselves with wasted high picks and the Packers need immediate holes filled. Fourth or Fifth round? Sure, pick one then. Earlier? Waste of a pick.

"I JUST...........WATHN'T REAL CRITHP TODAY" And once again, the Seahawks prove that when you play not to lose, that's usually what you end up doing. Koren Robinson = eBay fodder.
