Burning DVDs

I just bought a new computer which includes a DVD writer. Will I be able to burn DVD movies and if so how do I do it?

Once it's decrypted, you can use a program like Nero or CloneDVD to write the disc. Decrypter also has an ISO Read/Write feature that will let you burn the discs from within the program itself.

Let me ask a question, since Im new to this.

 

I tried to burn a DVD using the videos i have downloaded and it worked or whatever by using a dvd-r but it won't play on my dvd player.

I was also wondering how you turn MPG files into VOBs?

Many types of MPEG files can already be turned into DVDs, as MPEG is the standard used for VCD, SVCD, and DVD (although DVD uses Mpeg-4.)

 

Assuming you want to turn a file into something DVD ready, I reccomend TMPGenc and the DVD program from the same company. Fast simple stuff that I use to turn Divx into DVDs. A simple 700MB Divx flick has great quality even after it's been converted to DVD, and the quality loss that is there is worth not having to download a 4.7GB DVDR.
