the max 0 Report post Posted October 24, 2004 Wow, so Anglesault's a real piece of shit. Maybe I am. Maybe I've just had the story misrepresented to me. But from every news report I've heard, the girl more or less knowingly put herself in a position where bad things were going to happen. It's sad that she died, but a little bit of common sense would have prevented it. Hardly. Because common sense would tell her to not go out at all. But that's certainly not fair to her that because a couple of dumbfucks decided to get out of control even though they likely know nothing about baseball that she should have to stay inside. She was out with friends, and one of the insanely stupid Boston cops decided to fire a projectile into a crowd of fucking people. THERE'S your common sense. Could she have been in a safer place? Maybe, maybe not. Now, I'm not currently in Boston, but I have a pretty good idea of what the city is like, better than you do, and I can safely say that a majority of the city was likely in a simular state to Landsdowne. Maybe not as hectic, but if she's in that area of town, chances are that that entire end of town is going to be a fucking zoo. Is she innocent? I don't think so, but she didn't deserve to fucking die for daring to go out with friends. People knowlingly put themselves into situations where bad things might happen on a daily basis. This isn't one of them. People that don't wear a seatbelt, or who drink and drive are people that put themselves into a situation where bad things will happen. All this girl did was hang out with friends and she gets capped by a fucking mick on a horse...and it's her fault? Unbelievable.
Kahran Ramsus 0 Report post Posted October 24, 2004 I think both of you guys are off the track a bit on this one. Both the girl and the cop are partially at fault, but I think the real blame lies with the rioters. No riot, no shooting. Simple as that. Since by all accounts she wasn't participating in that, I won't lump her in that group. But they are all responsible for this.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted October 24, 2004 Because common sense would tell her to not go out at all. Or to some bar or club or restaurant or place that isn't the epicenter of a sure riot. insanely stupid Boston cops decided to fire a projectile into a crowd of fucking people. THERE'S your common sense. I agree that wasn't exactly a bright move either. but she didn't deserve to fucking die No one deserves to die. But that doesn't mean that every death warants an uproar. This one doesn't. It's like the people who stand up during the Ride on Splash Mountain and fall out. They don't deserve to die or get hurt or whatever as a person, but if they exibited even a little bit of common sense, the whole situation would be prevented. People knowlingly put themselves into situations where bad things might happen on a daily basis. This isn't one of them Sure it is. She willingly (unless she was kidnapped) went into a part of the city where she knew people were going to be/already were out of control.`And no, the cop shouldn't have fired a projectile into the crowd either. The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted October 24, 2004 It's just another example of God weeding out the idiots. No need to punish everyone. I think you were really out of line on this one. Isn't that a bannable offense? Well, calling an imaginary person a cunt is a bannable offense, so everything's fair game.
