NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2004 My gawd this is awesome, it comes in a PUZZLEBOX instead of the traditional box........dammit they better release something like this here(even though I have the original uncut in the limited tin, which also came with the 2nd one......but hey the 3rd one was decent enough). Hellraiser box set There is also an ad for the Halloween boxset, although I don't think I would want that, since I only REALLY would be interested in the first 3. The 4th and 5th, I could tolerate owning as part of a set, and maybe the Curse if it was ever properly released with all the original footage which makes it almost a different movie. However H20 and Ressurection........ugh.

Downhome 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2004 I have the Hellraiser box set. No, it'll never be released in the US so don't even get your hopes up. The R2 folks release box sets all the time that look awesome that never come out in R1, that's just how it is. The Halloween box set will never be released in R1 either simply because different companies own different Halloweens. I think it's split up between three or so different studios. I'll be picking the R2 box up sometime though.
BlackFlagg 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2004 a region free player is a must , especially for horror fans.
Downhome 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2004 Also, like I've said time and time again on here, the DVD player that you already have might be region-free and you not even know it. I have a simple Cyberhome player, and all that was needed to make it play DVDs from any region was a simple remote control hack. Just type in a few numbers on a certain screen, and I was up and running.
