Positively Kanyon 0 Report post Posted November 2, 2004 For those who don't know, the Melbourne Cup is pretty much the biggest horse race in Australia, so much so that it stops the nation and anyone that is old enough to gamble, does! Guest Shutterspeed Report post Posted November 2, 2004 We were actually able to stop in class for the race today. Not just to listen to it on the radio either, but to actually watch it. I wasn't betting on anyone. Just like 99.9% of the public, I had no idea. A lot of people try to make themselves seem like experts at this time of year when in fact they haven't got a fucking clue.
