2GOLD 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2004 Just to keep this in mind, about 800,000 ballots uncounted in OH. Kerry down by 130,000. Not good for John and John. -=Mike How do you know Mike? Which counties are we looking at? Are they solid Democratic counties? Could be bad news for George and Dick.

2GOLD 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2004 Look on the bright side Bush haters! Mike was WRONG about 300 EC votes for Bush! You got a MORAL victory over him! No guarantee. AK, HI, NM, CO, NV, OH, IA --- all are either leaning Bush or very much within his grasp. -=Mike Dammit Mike, let them have this! Do you realize the look of pure SHOCK on their face tomorrow knowing their party might have blown an easy win? Course, Kerry could pull a Red Sox here and take it home! There's only about 3 counties that are partisan enough to make up that kind of a gap for Kerry.

Kerry has to win a startling high percentage to actually pull it off. It's not a situation I'd want to be in. -=Mike
Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2004 The saddest part of this lost for Kerry is this... Bush was easily beatable. I still can't figure out how the democratic party could drop the ball here. Didn't you know? Everyone wants to bomb 'dem A-Rabs! It's hard work, but we gotta play offense or else all the dead 9/11 innocents are gonna cry and it'll rain on Ground zero for the next four years I tell ya's what! Who says being a cooperative neighbor is any good? Let's act like a giant superpower, invading and conquering everywhere we go! Even though the last world war was started because some country went about invading and conquering, who cares? It's us, and we're better, so it's clearly a better plan. Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted November 3, 2004 P. Diddy is STILL threating to kill us. And I dare MSNBC to play that "Youth Meant Shit" clip again in front of Diddy. Well that's MTV's problem. Getting people to register is one thing, getting them to vote is something else. Serves them right for filling all their heads with nothing but bullshit about a draft. P Diddy: Aww man. Tell you what, when's the next one of these? 6 months? Random Guy: 4 Years sir. P Diddy: Really? dang. Tell you what, give out weed then. That'll bring the youth in. Random Guy: That's Illegal sir. On various levels. P Diddy: How else we get these damn kids to vote? Random Guy: We could simply stop trying to mock them, and pressuring them and give them a more secure and capable choice...So yeah. Give them weed.
NYU 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2004 It's just sad that - out of all fifty states in the United States - we're actually relying on OHIO to give us our next President of the United States. OHIO!! teke184 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2004 Vitter wins! How many seats is that for the Republicans? Currently, that's a gain of least 3 for a total of 54-45-1. (Gains in SC, NC, LA, GA. Holds in KY, OK, PA, etc. Loss in IL) They could still lose seats in Colorado and Alaska, but could also pick up a seat in South Dakota.
Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2004 The best part of today is watching you cry about this. -=Mike I'm not crying, I've felt this way about Bush's foreign policy for a long time. Ohio still hasn't finished counting. The only thing I'll cry about is that we'll have these "conservatives" in all three branches of the government again. It was pretty clear this year that if you wanted a Republican government, you needed to vote for a Democrat and create some friction in Washington. Neither party will hold up conservative ideals when they control all the halls. This is almost a record for Republican pork.
