Guest The Satanic Angel

Fade in.

In the hours before the big Pay-Per-View extraveganza, wrestlers arrive at the MEN arena to get situated in the locker room, warm up, and go over last minute details. Driving a rented Subaru, Sean Davis turns into the employee parking lot (from the wrong side of the road, no less) and eases into a parking spot. Davis parks the Subaru, being much smaller than his usual Escalade, far to one side of the spot. After turning off the car, Sean opens the door, only to slam it into the car next to his. He frowns at the predicament, but finds himself able to squeeze out of the car. Sean shuts the door and looks over the car next to him. A glance inside reveals various SWF paraphenelia, but nothing that would indicate who’s car Sean hit. Davis shrugs and heads around the Subaru, opening the passenger side door to pull out his gym bag.

The cameraman follows Sean as he heads into the arena, passing the security guard at the door with no problem. Davis winds through the hallways, recalling from memory which turns he needs to make in order to reach Revolution Zero’s assigned locker room. After about five minutes of walking, the big bruiser realizes that he’s not in the right place at all. Davis turns around and backtracks … only to end up in the boiler room.

“Definitely should have turned left at Albequerque,” he murmurs to himself.

Davis abruptly makes a U-turn and pulls a cell phone from his pocket. He flips it open and speaks into it, “Marc.” The phone beeps at him and dials Marcus Washington. As Sean walks the halls back toward … somewhere, he talks to Marc.

“ … “

“Yeah, about fifteen minutes ago … little more. Man, I’m lost in this place. Which way was it from the parking lot?”

“ … … … … “

As the voice on the other end gives directions, Sean meanders the hallways, trying to find his way. The doors are marked, but none of them seem familiar.

“ … “

“Oh, here it is. Damn, I passed this door first thing.”

Davis pushes through a door that enters into the underground of the MEN arena, the network of locker rooms and weight rooms for the players that grace the floor.

“Yeah, I’ll be in the weight room in a few.”

Sean closes the flip phone on his chest and slides it into his pocket. He nods as he walks along the hallway, now remembering the directions he was given just a few days ago. A door close to the big hallway leading into the arena is marked ‘Revolution Zero’ and Sean turns the knob, stepping inside. Toxxic’s bag lays on a bench near his locker, but the leader is absent from the room. Another duffle rests across the way, on a recliner in the corner. A full service wet bar is opposite the recliner, causing Sean to smirk.

“The British sure know how to party,” he remarks to himself.

Sean lays his bag on the bench next to Toxxic’s, then pulls out his gloves, sliding them on. He’s already dressed for a light workout in order to warm up, so Davis just pulls a towel out of his back, drapes it over his shoulder, and steps back out of the locker room. Taking the appropriate turns, Sean heads toward the weight room, where Marcus is presumably waiting for him. Sean steps to one side as another body turns down the hallway, heading toward the Perfect Storm.

David Cross wipes a towel over his face, having just finished his own warm-up workout. He looks up and notices none other than Sean Davis walking toward him. A smirk finds his lips and he nods at Davis as they pass in the hallway. Sean only nods back at him, no sign of recognition in his eyes. Cross pauses and turns, watching as Marcus Washington greets Davis at the door of the weight room. Marcus nods back toward Cross and murmurs something at Sean. The Perfect Storm looks over his shoulder at David, shrugs at Washington, then disappears into the weight room.

Cross utters to himself, “He really doesn't have a clue. Well, sometimes the past does have a way of catching up.”

Fade out.
