Guest Ronnie755 Report post Posted November 10, 2004 --The entire TNA show last night had to be rewritten at the last minute after Randy Savage, who was scheduled to be all over the show, quit. While Savage claimed he was quitting because of Hulk Hogan, virtually nobody buys that for a second. Savage lost major respect of everyone last night. From the Observer site. Hunter's Torn Quad 0 Report post Posted November 10, 2004 That was pure rumor. It didn't happen.
Guest Donners Report post Posted November 10, 2004 Fortunately they hadn't established any sort of role for him yet, so it doesn't hurt much. Just looks like a random run-in. Probably the best thing for TNA if it frees them up to afford the likes of DDP easier.
Guest Astro Report post Posted November 11, 2004 www.nwatna.com/multimedia/live/2004/11/07/gal2/large/77.jpg I think that Savage pic is a nice one to scare little kids away. Boy he's scary now....
TheBigSwigg 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2004 I don't care if that was a joke. Say that again and I'll kill you. </Swiggy's mother after finding out her son WASN'T straight after all> Damn you Lazarus. Damn you. Side Note: Are you letting that Chipmunk light up so that he's more relaxed when he climbs in your ass?
Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted November 11, 2004 Sting didnt have a contract and that worked out. Sting, as probably one of the few Christians in wrestling to actually be serious about it, kept his word. Savage didn't. The only born-again Christian I can think of who is still shit is Jake Roberts, and I'm assuming everyone knew that already.
Guest bigrockstar Report post Posted November 11, 2004 Sting is not even half the man Savage is and with twice the brain!!
Precious Roy 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2004 Savage is a fucking pussy. If this isn't an elaborate work I've lost ALL respect for him, and coming from someone who would mark for him no matter what scumbag shit he pulled behind the scenes that's saying a lot. It seems too convenient though, calling out Hogan ON AN LP and then running away from the chance to beat him down? And Hogan just happened to be backstage at Savage's first show? I'm thinking Hogan-Savage is going down in TNA, if I'm wrong I'm wrong, but that's my gut instinct, this whole thing is too absurd to not be a work..... Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted November 11, 2004 It's TNA...anything absurd goes! This is the company that has brought in such classic wrestlers as Jim Duggan, Buff Bagwell, Rick Steiner, Bobby Eaton, The Rock N' Roll Express, The Road Warriors, Vader, Mabel, Moondog Spot, Lex Luger, Sting, and attempted bringing in Hulk Hogan. I might point out almost everyone of those listed are WAY past their primes and/or either put on shitty performances, or just plain suck. The only GOOD ones (stretching) were from Ricky Morton (vs. Kid Kash), and Sting (various matches with Jarrett). Nothing I would say justifies bringing them in though. Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted November 11, 2004 TNA Negotiator: Please come back! Please Please Please Please Please. Pretty Please with Sugar on top... Randy Savage: Oh Yeah...only if I get partial ownership of the company brother, and with cherries too.
Guest whitemilesdavis Report post Posted November 11, 2004 The latest Meltzer update says TNA are Savage are negotiating for him to return, and that it is expected to happen. You may commence laughing. This shows why TNA are in trouble. They continue doing business with guys like Savage and Hardy, who in the long run won't do a thing for them.
