Hey Incandenza

Recommended Posts

Second s/t for their moody, dreary stuff; Can Our Love... for their blue-eyed soul period.

Suggested songs for d/l'ing (not all of the following come from either of the above):

City Sickness

Blood

Her

My Sister

A Night In

Travelling Light

Rented Rooms

Can We Start Again?

I Know That Loving

Dying Slowly

People Keep Comin' Around

Trouble Every Day (edit: this isn't a Zappa cover, Agent)

Say Goodbye to the City

Sweet Memory

They do a pretty great cover of Pavement's "Here," too, so you might wanna check that out.

this is what the pm function is for.

Everyone can learn from this thread.

i don't object to the content. just the form it's placed in. if the topic had a title like "recommend me some tindersticks" and made a point to mention you in the post, it'd be cool. but if he makes it clear that the thread is made for you and only you (as directly stated in the "hey incandenza" title), then it shouldn't be public domain. can't have it both ways without incurring the wrath of picky little shits like myself.

Let's start a thread about how no one likes godthedog.

it would backfire. since no one's ever started a thread about me before, you'd only succeed in making me feel special.

The Tindersticks aren't very good. My opinion can and will be considered faulty. But seriously, listen to me.

Incandenza knows a lot of things about certain kinds of music. Perhaps I can use this as a general glean of what he knows.

Hey Incandenza...

Which Magazine album should I buy/acquire if I've never heard the band before?

Let's start a thread about how no one likes banky.

Last night I would've believed it and given you the desired response. But bring it on now. I can handle it.

The Correct Use of Soap is the only one I've heard. I like it okay, but don't think it's anything spectacular.

Hey Incandenza, I've been hearing rumblings about this legal drinker who is seriously considering a desire to rub uglies with 13-year-old JoJo. If this is true I am truly in fear for JoJo's safety.

Marbles is the best Tindersticks song.
