Hey, I've been looking to get a new gamepad for my PC. Stuff like wireless or force feedback really isn't important to me. I'm just looking for something that is as good as a console controller, but for the PC. I had an Axispad, and I found it to be a crappy PlayStation controller ripoff. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I've been looking for the same thing.

I did come across some converters though; Basically, you can plug your PS2 controller (I assume they make them for other systems as well) into this converter, which you can then plug into a USB port.

Anyone ever use one of those? Are they any good?

The Gravis Gamepad Pro rulles. I liked my Logitech Dual Action too. and My old Saitek p140 or something like that.

The problem with PC pads is that their FRAGILE as HELL. You drop them a few times and all of a sudden you can't go down. It's freaking annoying. Outside of the Saitek, the others broke in like...a few months. I had the Saitek for YEARS before it finally croaked.

I swear that about 90% of PC gamepads today are shameless PS1 knockoffs. They even will use Square, Circle, Triangle, X for the buttons.

My cheap-o one works, but I much prefer my cuz' Gravis, so look for something from them for your best bet.

I was looking for the Gravis Gamepad Pro but couldn't find it. Does anyone know who sells it here in Canada?
