Gail Kim is seriously dating one of the Basham's, I forget which according to Meltzer and Keller.  Hell, they even have been seen together as a couple, they went to some wedding together.

Gail Kim is dating Doug Basham. I even heard a rumor that they are engaged, but I don't think that is true.

Pity the wrestling ability didn't flow onto her. Watching Dinsmore vs. Machine from 2001 at the moment, the way the WWE misuse these guys astounds me.

On the flip side, you wouldn't hoped that Gail's ability to not totally destroy her (the womens division) would flow into Doug and the tag division.

You're right. They already did. It's been dead for over a year. Coicidentially, all fan interest seemed to die right around the Basham title reign, where Doug and Danny went out there every week and seemed to actively try to bore the shit out of the live and TV audience.

First I think Gail Kim and Nidea would likely make $1000 plus fee's on a local card. They bring name recognition. They are (sadly--former) WWE stars and in the indie cards they put mostly local wrestling school guys and a few big names in order to sell tickets. Most people won't pay for a card of all wrestling school acts, but if you throw in a few names they might go and see it. I'm a Gail Kim fan so if she was on an indie card I probably would pay to see her.

As for her face being Ugly all I can say is thats a personal taste type thing. I think she's very good looking, but i've always been a fan of good lookin Asian girls. I think Michelle Kwan is a hottie to but a friend of mine thinks she's about the ugliest thing since the Wiggles.

Yes, the WWE said "Go out there and do NOTHING interesting. That's right, NOTHING! Don't even bother trying to get the fans involved in the match, and refuse to use double team, high impact, or interesting moves of any sort."

 

The WWE has "neutered" many people. (RVD and Rey Mysterio, for example) The Bashams are the only guys that responded by doing that.
