Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Report post Posted December 5, 2004 So they trade turnovers, as Favre repeats his OT performance last year and throws a stupid prayer up and Dawkins came down with it again. I really don't know what to make of this game quite yet. You've never been so annoying.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Report post Posted December 5, 2004 And the Eagles prove their offense domination and superiority.

therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2004 On a side note, if Owens gets one more TD catch, Andy Reid has to wear tights. Get ready to avert your eyes if he does.
Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted December 5, 2004 Denver's down 7-0 to S.D. Anyone think the loss to the Raiders might've broken the Broncos for the rest of the season?
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted December 5, 2004 Hey, at least the Vikings lost. This is true. You've never been so annoying. And I apologize if I'm a bit excited, I should chill out some. Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted December 5, 2004 I think Denver should cut Mike Shannahan loose after this season. How many more times can his teams underachieve before someone thinks to blame him?

Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Report post Posted December 5, 2004 I think Denver should cut Mike Shannahan loose after this season. How many more times can his teams underachieve before someone thinks to blame him? He's never really had the players to dominate. I think its impressive how he gets so much out of players. Just watching Portis this year proves it.

Just watching Portis this year proves it. Agreed, but it makes me wonder why Denver's offensive line coach has never really left for a higher position. We see the success he has with so many different backs (Portis, Anderson, Davis, Droughns, etc.)
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted December 5, 2004 OK, so end of the first quarter, 7-0 Philly. Green Bay threatening on the Philadelphia 10 or so. McNabb is playing an absolutely stellar game so far, he made two ridiculous passes, one while having the wrong foot froward, the other being held by a Packer d-lineman, and then the scramble to find T.O. for the TD. It really looks like the young kids on the Packers are nervous. And they start off the 2nd quarter with another penalty as well. Lots of false starts and offsides. Another INT by the Eagles, inside their own 5.

therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted December 5, 2004 He did. Alex Gibbs was their O-Line coach last year and went to the Falcons. Ah didn't know that, he's still the O-line coach right? Cause I know Greg Knapp is the offensive coordinator there.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted December 5, 2004 Apparently it looked like the INT hit the ground on the replay, but Sherman didn't challenge. Favre should have thrown it up a little more, since Driver has hops. Also got reported that Favre sprained his finger in the first quarter, so maybe he's making poor decisions because of playing through pain? Three interesting stats: Green Bay hasn't won in Philadelphia since 1967, and Favre is 0-3 at Philadelphia. This is also a matchup of the best red-zone offense in the league (Green Bay) versus the best red zone defense in the league (Philly). So far Philly's won that battle, first INT Favre has thrown in the red zone all season.

Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted December 5, 2004 Well so far Banky as well as all the Eagle fans are right. 14-0 Philly. Ridiculous. McNabb set a franchise record for consecutive completions with 14. Damn we need a secondary.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Report post Posted December 5, 2004 I TOLD ALL OF YOU THAT WESTBROOK OPENS UP THE EAGLES DEFENSE. I TOLD YOU BUT NO ONE LISTENS TO BANKY. This score and somination isn't a surprise at all. People here are TRYING to sleep on the eagles as legitimate Super Bowl champions, but they can't. They are good enough to win. Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted December 5, 2004 You mean Westbrook opens up the Eagles offense, right? I don't see how he opens up the defense, but if you care to explain how, please do. Favre is having a horrible game thus far. 2 INT's, one of which was a little iffy, and the Eagles ripped up the field 80+yards for a TD. I can see why their offense is so heavily praised. I still have hope. Green Bay needs to score badly on this drive.
