Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted December 7, 2004 GMAC: Memphis vs. Bowling Green MPC Computers: Virginia vs. Fresno State Motor City: Toledo vs. Connecticut Independence: Iowa State vs. Miami of Ohio Alamo: Ohio State vs. Oklahoma State Emerald: Navy vs. New Mexico Silicon Valley: Northern Illinois vs. Troy Music City: Minnesota vs. Alabama Sun: Purdue vs. Arizona State Liberty: Louisville vs. Boise State Outback: Wisconsin vs. Georgia Capital One: Iowa vs. LSU These would be the matchups I find to be the most interesting out of the bunch this year. I'm actually surprised at the number. Troy did a good job of getting themselves into a bowl game only a few years after moving up to Division 1-A. I think Iowa/LSU, Toledo/UConn and Louiseville/Boise State are the most interesting games to me for the non-BCS stuff this year.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2004 I'm really interested in the Louisville/Boise State matchup. Anyone think they'll reach 100 combined? Hell will they reach 120 combined? Or will Louisville's defense shut Boise State down? Wisconsin vs. Georgia looks like a good one as well. Iowa vs. LSU I want to see. I'll finally be able to put my LSU sign to use. Of course I want to watch all the Big XII teams....wait who's Colorado playing?
Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted December 7, 2004 Colorado plays UTEP.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2004 Colorado plays UTEP. Hmm.....ok I'm interested in all the Big XII games except ISU and Colorado.
Slayer 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2004 Only two interest me: Louisville vs. Boise and OSU vs. OSU
Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted December 7, 2004 Iowa State vs. Miami (OH) will be a fun game because of Miami's spread offense. Though it'll give Iowa State nightmares.
Guest Cerebus Report post Posted December 7, 2004 Wow UConn got a bowl bid? That's amazing considering their football team was nowhere on the map a few years ago.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2004 Only two interest me: Louisville vs. Boise and OSU vs. OSU Will they list it as OSU and OSU on the scorecard? That would be funny.
Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted December 7, 2004 Wow UConn got a bowl bid? That's amazing considering their football team was nowhere on the map a few years ago. Yeah, they benefitted from an insanely good offense and being in the Big East.
Guest Cerebus Report post Posted December 7, 2004 Wow UConn got a bowl bid? That's amazing considering their football team was nowhere on the map a few years ago. Yeah, they benefitted from an insanely good offense and being in the Big East. And a new big ass stadium in East Hartford. It's a really nice one too. I've been living here my whole life and it was only in the last few years have I ever heard anyone talking about going to UConn football games that weren't students. iggymcfly 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2004 Wow UConn got a bowl bid? That's amazing considering their football team was nowhere on the map a few years ago. Yeah, they benefitted from a slightly above average offense and being in the Big East. Especially being in the Big East. Edited for accuracy.

Guest Rrrsh Report post Posted December 7, 2004 Liberty and Sun will likely get my most attention for watching. But there are lots of easy money Bowl games this year for betting, and thats always good.
Agent_Bond34 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2004 Liberty, Peach, Cotton, Las Vegas, Outback, and, Capital One are the non-BCS games I'm most interested in. However, knowing me, I'll try to find some way to watch as many bowl games as I possibly can.

However, knowing me, I'll try to find some way to watch as many bowl games as I possibly can. I knew a guy that said that if he watched at least 1 quarter of every bowl game then he'd have a good year.
Agent_Bond34 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2004 For me, that's probably not possible, as I usually miss several bowl games, and they're mostly on December 31st.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2004 For me, that's probably not possible, as I usually miss several bowl games, and they're mostly on December 31st. Well I'm not a huge partier so I don't usually miss out. And if I show up at a party and there's a TV I flip the bowl game on.
Agent_Bond34 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2004 I'm not exactly a huge "party animal" either, but, they show several games on at the same time, on that day, so, it's kind of hard to watch them all.... unless you're in Las Vegas or some shit. Another non-BCS bowl that I forgot about that has some sort of interest... the Motor City Bowl, if anything, I want to see how UConn fares in their first ever bowl appearance. They seem to be on the right track.
teke184 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2004 New Orleans Bowl because I'm a Southern Miss alum Capitol One because I'm a huge LSU fan Liberty because Louisville and Boise State are fun to watch

So during the SEC Championship and the USC/UCLA game I had them both on two TV's apiece with two stereo's going. My boss complained about it but customers loved it. Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2004 Florida vs Miami could be good, if both teams come to play. LSU vs Iowa. If you like defense, here's your game. The rest to be honest. Look mediocre at best.
cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2004 U of L vs. Boise St. is easily the most notable non BCS game. I can't really see Boise putting up 50 or whatever people think on U of L's defense...we've been playing great lately on D.
Conspiracy_Victim 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2004 Well, since I'm an Aggie fan I'm interested in the Cotton Bowl. A&M vs. Tennessee seems like a pretty good matchup, and since the kickoff is at 10 AM local time, I'll be able to watch most of it before I have to leave for work. Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted December 7, 2004 That Louisville/Boise State game is going to be BSU getting slaughtered, I think. Lot of people are expecting it to be a hot shootout.
nogoodnick 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2004 I don't know if BSU is gonna get slaughtered. They have won something like 25 of their last 26 games or something. I think it will be a close game with a ri ridiculously high score.

cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2004 Boise also had to go OT to beat San Jose St. and barely edged BYU by 1. Aside from the Miami loss U of L only had one other game that was even a contest, and that was Memphis. Poor Cal...they go from the Rose Bowl to playing a jobber like Texas Tech.
