Who said I was a reader?

(That was a joke btw. Thought I'd clear that up as some people can't tell)

No, there's no such rule. Most people just do it because they're already in the forum seeing if anyone has replied to theirs.

sorry for the delay, dean and i weren't too sure if we should continue or not, but we decided to push forward.

over this month, we will catch up in time with the real time wwe, so eventually when royal rumble rolls around in real life, our royal rumble won't be far behind

at the moment we're about 4 weeks behind real time, so there will have to be a lot of catching up this month.

2nd December SMACKDOWN Preview

Last week, Theodore Long was shockingly fired as GM of Smackdown by Mr. McMahon over the actions of Heidenreich. But what was even more shocking was Paul Heyman being made the new GM! What will this mean for the future of Smackdown?

Kurt Angle uncharacterisitcally postphoned his Armageddon WWE title shot in favour of finishing off one of the biggest rivalries sports entertainment has seen as of late. At Armageddon, Angle has opted to face long time nemesis Eddie Guerrero. We have gotten word that on Smackdown there will be a huge announcement regarding their Armageddon match!

The biggest question of the week has been "Who will JBL defend his WWE Championship against at Armageddon?" All will be answered come Thursday.

Matches Scheduled:

There will be a Triple Threat tag team match between Dudley Boys, Luther Reigns and Mark Jindrak; and the newest team on Smackdown, Shannon Moore and Funaki. The winners of this match will go on to Armageddon to face the Tag Team Champions, Rene Dupree and Kenzo Suzuki!

The US Championship Tournament will continue with the semi-final, Billy Kidman -vs- Rob Van Dam.

With Rey Mysterio and Spike Dudley wrestling to a double countout last week, Booker will automatically advance to the finals.

A huge tag team match will main event this Thursday's Smackdown as the WWE Champion, JBL will team up against the man he was supposed to face, Kurt Angle; as they take on Eddie Guerrero and Big Show. With Big Show demanding a title shot last week, who knows what he will do to impress the higher ups.

Along with all this, it has been reported that Paul Heyman's first act as GM, was to demand that Undertaker appear on Smackdown. With their storied history, anything can happen tonight!

2nd December 2004

Richmond, Virginia

SMACKDOWN!

Intro Recap: Kurt Angle postpones his WWE title shot at Armageddon and has instead chosen to face Eddie Guerrero in a final epic battle. Theodore Long was shockingly fired by Mr. McMahon himself, and has appointed Paul Heyman as the new GM!

*show starts*

- The new GM Paul Heyman makes his way out to the ring gleefully. Heyman says that it's time for history to repeat itself, it's time for Paul Heyman to be incharge of Smackdown once again. He says last week, Theodore Long got the shock of his life, when he lost the GM position to him, Paul Heyman. Heyman says that he tried to warn Long that Heidenreich was in no mental condition to wrestle, but he didn't listen. It's his fault that he lost his job, and no one elses. Heyman says that seeing as Long is no longer of any use on Smackdown, he sent him home and he will not be appearing tonight, or any night most likely. He says speaking of people who won't be appearing tonight. Due to the beating Hardcore Holly received curteousy of the WWE Champion JBL last week, Holly will not be here tonight. Heyman states that he hopes Holly never comes back as he remembers the absolute lack of respect Holly showed him the last time he was GM, and he won't tolerate it this time around.

Heyman then brings up Armageddon. He says it will no longer be JBL defending his WWE Championship against Kurt Angle, as last week, Angle requested to put his title shot on hold till after Armageddon in favour of facing his long time nemesis, Eddie Guerrero in a final epic encounter. Heyman says that he loves the idea of the two of them facing off one more time, but he feels the match needs something extra. Heyman says that since the last 2/3 Falls match ended controversially, he has decided that at Armageddon, Eddie and Angle will redo the 2/3 Falls match, and this time, there will be a decisive winner. He says that's not all, this won't be just any 2/3 Falls match, each fall will be unique. The first, will be under normal rules. The second, will be under submission rules. And if there still isn't a winner, the third fall will be held inside a 16-foot steel cage! Heyman wishes both men good luck.

Heyman then says now there is a problem. With Angle no longer competing for the title at Armageddon, JBL now has no opponent at the PPV. He says last week, he witnessed the Big Show dominate the WWE Champion, and demanding to get Angle's Armageddon title shot. Heyman states he's always been a huge supporter of the Big Show, and the last time he was GM, Big Show and him had a very good business relationship going on, and he hopes to retain it this time around. Heyman says that he would love to give the title shot to Big Show, but he will have to prove himself, he will have to impress him. In tonight's main event, Eddie Guerrero and Big Show vs Kurt Angle and JBL, he wants Big Show to show just why he deserves to get the number one contenders spot.

Suddenly out comes Carlito Caribbean Cool with Jesus Aguilera. Carlito says that Big Show getting the title shot at Armageddon, is not cool. But Carlito Caribbean Cool getting the shot instead? Now that's cool. Heyman asks him to explain himself. Carlito says Big Show's dominance last week, that was nothing. That wasn't impressive. What's impressive, is Carlito Caribbean Cool winning the United States Championship on his very first match ever. Heyman nods his head in agreement. Carlito says that he blames John Cena for having his US title stripped off him due to injury Cena inflicted on him at Survivor Series, and for that he will never forgive him. He says he never even lost the US Championship, he never lost it in a match, and therefore he is undefeated in title matches. He says that if Heyman gives him the title shot at Armageddon, he will promise to take the WWE title on his very first attempt, just like he took the US title on his very first attempt. He says history will repeat itself. Heyman says that he has no doubt been impressed by Carlito since his debut, and if he gets the title shot at Armageddon, frankly, he wouldn't be surprised if he somehow manages to win it. But, there are so many options to be considered and many worthy contenders. Heyman says that by the end of the night, he will name JBL's opponent at Armageddon, he will name just who gets the shot at the WWE Championship.

Heyman is leaving the ring when suddenly the lights go out. The gong of the Undertaker is heard. The lights then come back on as Heyman looks around bewildered. He grabs the mic yet again on the rampway and tells the Undertaker, wherever he is, that he hasn't forgotten about him, he says the roles have reversed, and Undertaker better show him respect, or as the new GM, he will take action. He says Undertaker will be in a match tonight, and he wants no more of Taker's disappearing act. Heyman finally leaves.

"My Opinion: The new loaded 2/3 Falls addition to the Angle/Eddie match at Armageddon is exactly what it needs, to finish off a grand feud such as this. A normal match wouldn't have done it justice. Althought I really hope this match will be clean, otherwise everything Angle and Eddie said last week wouldn't have made much sense.

Interesting with a heel Heyman still aligning with a face Big Show, and was pretty cool bringing up their history from last year.

I still feel it's pretty weird seeing Carlito Caribbean Cool somewhat involved in the WWE title scene, especially since he's still injured, but I guess it does make it more interesting than just having the title shot go straight to Big Show....unless Carlito is the one who actually gets the title shot?....nah."

Backstage: Funaki and Shannon Moore are debating whether they should even be in the Three Way tag match tonight to see who will go on to face the Tag Team Champions at Armageddon. Moore says that maybe Dupree was right last week, they simply aren't good enough. Suddenly Booker T, who could be seen in the background the entire time, approaches them. Booker says he's sick and tired about hearing them not being good enough. He says that last week, he saw the match they had with the Dudleys, he knows that they lost, but are they going to quit just because of that? He says there is nothing wrong with losing to the Dudleys, they are the 18 time tag team champions. But does he have to remind them again what happened 2 weeks ago. Funaki pinned the Dudleys?!? and won the match. Booker says the two of them better stop their whining, and to stop feeling sorry for themselves, because it ain't going to get them anywhere. He didn't become 5-time WCW Champion by being a pussy.

He says tonight, Funaki and Shannon Moore are going to compete, and they are going to walk out into that arena, and win the three way number one contenders match. And why? He taps Funaki on the chest and says because he can see that they've got heart, and that's all you really need. Moore and Funaki nod their heads in agreement with a renewed sense of determination. Booker then starts leaving not before Moore wishes Booker good luck in the US Championship tournament. Booker says not to worry about him, he knows he's going to win the title, but they better be focusing on their match tonight.

Backstage: Billy Kidman is talking to Paul Heyman and is worried that Chavo Guerrero or Charlie Haas might interfere in his semi-finals match tonight against RVD. Kidman says that he admits he injured them both bad with the Shooting Star Press, but that's just how this business works. Heyman says he couldn't agree more. Chavo Guerrero and Charlie Haas suddenly appear and interrupts them. Chavo says that Kidman doesn't have to worry about him or Charlie interfering in his match, although Chavo is saying this with a grin on his face. Kidman tells Heyman that he doesn't buy it. Heyman says he doesn't buy it either and says if either Chavo or Charlie interfere in Kidman's match tonight, they will be fired! Kidman looks satisfied. Chavo's grin still persists and says that like he said, they promise not to interfere. Kidman angrily shouts at Heyman that he knows they're still up to something. Heyman says just to keep them two out of trouble, he will put them in a match, he will include them in the three way number one contenders match, to make it a fatal four way match. Heyman tells Chavo and Charlie to go get ready right now, because they're up next.

Match Backstory: The newly formed underdog tag team of Shannon Moore and Funaki had embarassed the Dudleys 2 weeks ago when Funaki pinned D-Von, causing a major upset. Last week, the Dudleys were able to get a measure of revenge when they defeated them in a tag team match. With their loss, plus the Tag Team Champions, Rene Dupree and Kenzo Suzuki putting them down as nothing more than a fluke team no one respects, Moore and Funaki seem to be discouraged. However earlier in the night Booker was able to bring the underdogs spirits back up telling them they should never doubt themselves, and that they can win this match. Chavo Guerrero and Charlie Haas were just put in this match by Heyman so as to keep them busy from costing Kidman his match later in the night.

No. 1 Contenders (Tag Team Championship) / Fatal Four Way:

Dudley Boys

-vs-

Funaki & Shannon Moore

-vs-

Luther Reigns & Mark Jindrak w/Kurt Angle

-vs-

Chavo Guerrero & Charlie Haas

The winners will face the Tag Team Champions, Rene Dupree and Kenzo Suzuki for the titles at Armageddon. And speaking of Dupree and Suzuki, here they come now to commentate with Tazz and Cole. I'm rather impressed that there are actually four teams to fill a fatal four way match! The crowd is completely rallying behind Moore and Funaki as expected. Chavo and Charlie show some surprisingly nice team work with their innovative double team moves. Wouldn't mind seeing them two become a tag team, seeing as Smackdown is desperately in need of face tag teams. Over to the announcer's table, Dupree basically disses every team, face as well as heel, while Kenzo just randomly sings. Back in the ring, Jindrak throws Charlie to the outside in front of Kurt Angle. Angle helps Charlie up then suddenly hits the Olympic Slam on the hard floor, then throws him back in the ring. Jindrak makes the cover...

BREAK UP!

Chavo breaks it up. Eventually Chavo gets tagged back into the match with Jindrak. Both men hammer away before a double Clothesline collision sending both men down. Suddenly Billy Kidman comes running out. He climbs the turnbuckes then hits the Shooting Star Press on Chavo, demonstrating just how much of a hypocrite he is after insisting on Heyman to make Chavo and Charlie not interfere in his own match earlier. Charlie tries to chase Kidman away but Reigns hits Charlie with a huge Clothesline on the outside. Jindrak crawls over Chavo, who is still out from Kidman's Shooting Star, to make the cover...

BREAK UP!

Funaki breaks it up. The action continues till an 8 man all out brawl erupts, leaving the two legal men, Shannon Moore and Bubba in the ring. D-Von brings a chair in but Funaki drop kicks it into his face. Funaki picks up the chair and nails Bubba in the head while the ref is distracted. Moore quickly rolls up Bubba from behind....

1....

2....

THREE!

Winners: Tag Team Championship No. 1 Contenders, Shannon Moore & Funaki by pinfall at 11 minutes

Moore and Funaki completely lose it jumping around with joy and hugging each other. Suddenly Dupree and Kenzo leave the announcer's table and attack their Armageddon opponents. Moore and Funaki get absolutely hammered as Dupree yells out that they're nothing but a fluke team. Booker T then rushes out and takes out both the tag champions clearing the ring. Booker, Moore and Funaki stand triumphant to the fans' approval.

"My Opinion: Little bit confusing with all the different storylines in this match up. Funaki/Moore and the Dudleys, Kidman/Chavo/Charlie, and the inclusion of Angle's faction and the tag team champions on commentary. However, the crowd really ate up all the drama going on in the match. Kind of odd seeing Angle interfere in a match such as this but understandable as he's just trying to help his proteges Jindrak and Reigns win the match. Kidman being all hypocritical was a good way to get heel heat, especially with his insistance on no one interfering in his match earlier with Heyman. Okay, so it's going to be Dupree and Suzuki defending their titles against Moore and Funaki at Armageddon, I guess that was the only logical team to win this thing really. Will be interesting to see if they give the titles to Moore and Funaki this soon, if ever."

Backstage: Paul Heyman is telling Jesus Aguilera to lay a beating on Taker, Jesus says no problem.

Match Backstory: GM Paul Heyman, as his first act as GM, demanded Undertaker to appear on Smackdown tonight, and subsequently put him in a match with Jesus, hoping he will get beaten good. Heyman has been feuding with Taker ever since the Paul Bearer incident thru to Heidenreich as of late.

Undertaker -vs- Jesus Aguilera w/Carlito Caribbean Cool

Carlito gets sent to the back early on for tripping the Undertaker. Jesus manages to stand his own against the phenom but soon falls prey to the Chokeslam. Taker makes the cover, but Paul Heyman runs out from the back and pulls the ref out of the ring. Heyman then yells at Taker that he's not afraid of him anymore, Heyman has all the power now, and Taker can bully him no longer. This causes Taker to get out of the ring to confront Heyman, sending the general manager cowardly fleeing to the back. Taker returns into the ring and finishes of Jesus with the Tombstone.

Winner: Undertaker by pinfall at 5 minutes

"My Opinion: Jesus jobs again, although to his credit he's only been facing main eventers (Big Show, Taker). Nice to see that the Heyman/Taker feud which has been going on since earlier this year is still apparent. If they are going to end this feud, there needs to be some resolution directly between Taker and Heyman, not Taker and Heidenreich or any other of Heyman's cronies."

RAW Rebound: Chris Jericho was the GM for the night.....Rhyno and Tajiri battled Eugene and William Regal to a no contest when La Resistance attacked both teams.....Trish Stratus retained her title against Lita, Stacy and Victoria in a Bra and Panties match.....Christian and Tyson Tomko defeated Shelton Benjamin and Maven.....Gene Snitsky defeated Chris Benoit after Edge interfered......Triple H retained his World Heavyweight Championship against Chris Jericho in a Hell in a Cell match due to Gene Snitsky's distraction and Maven's interference on behalf of Evolution, thus becoming the newest member.

Next week, Randy Orton will be the GM for the night and he has already 'guaranteed' that Triple H will not walk out of the arena the World Heavyweight Champion. With Orton still not able to wrestle for the championship as long as Triple H is champion, what will Orton have in mind? Also there will be a Survivor Series rematch as Shelton Benjamin defends his Intercontinental Championship against Christian.

Backstage: Paul Heyman, still furious at the Undertaker, bumps into Booker T. He tells Booker that it's a good thing he bumped into him because he needed to tell him that Booker T being in the finals for the US Championship tournament at Armageddon isn't set in stone. Booker asks what he's talking about. Heyman says that Theodore Long may have authorised for Booker to get a bye straight to the finals after Spike Dudley and Rey Mysterio wrestled to a double countout. But this is now Heyman's show, and he says Booker is not getting a bye. Heyman says that Booker will compete in the semi-finals tonight. A confused Booker asks who is he going to face? Heyman says that it will be Booker T vs Rey Mysterio vs Spike Dudley in a triple threat match, and the winner will go on to Armageddon to face either Billy Kidman or Rob Van Dam for the US Championship. Booker says that's fine with him. He then tells Heyman that he needs to get something off his chest. He says Heyman ain't fooling anyone in the back, including Booker, they all know Heyman stole the GM position off Theodore Long. Heyman insists he didn't steal it, he earned it. Booker says whatever then leaves. Heyman seems to be a little bothered by this.

"My Opinion: Much better, glad they didn't ultimately just allow Booker a bye straight to the finals. I mean, it would kind of diminish his credibility a bit if he wins the title at Armageddon after getting it easy in the tournament. The triple threat match is a great way to go. So the boys in the back have issues with Heyman as GM eh.......hmm."

Recap: Last week, Billy Kidman defeated Charlie Haas after using his fake cast to nail Charlie in the head; and Rob Van Dam defeated Heidenreich when Theodore Long stopped the match and awarded the victory to RVD, and subsequently firing Heidenreich, to advance to the semi-finals.

Match Backstory: Due to Billy Kidman's whining from earlier on in the night, Paul Heyman has made it so if Chavo Guerrero or Charlie Haas interfere, they will be fired. However, judging from Chavo still being all smiles, he seems to have some sort of plan up his sleeve.

US CHAMPIONSHIP Tournament Semi-Finals:

stip: if Chavo Guerrero or Charlie Haas interfere in the match, they will be fired

Rob Van Dam -vs- Billy Kidman

This match should be a good one given enough time. The match starts off with a series of moves culminating in an RVD style stand off. Too much action to call here as the two put on a spectacle seldom seen on Smackdown as of late (at least by Kidman's standards). Kidman heads up top to nail the Shooting Star Press but misses as RVD rolls out of the way. Suddenly Paul London, making his big return, comes out thru the crowd and climbs the turnbuckles. He then hits his (much better) version of the Shooting Star Press on Kidman while the ref is distracted. London slides out as RVD hits the Split-Legged Moonsault for the pin.

Winner: Rob Van Dam by pinfall at 14 minutes

Kidman comes to and looks menacingly at London at the stage.

"My Opinion: Best one on one match we've seen on Smackdown for a while (not including ppvs). Kidman definitely upped his game matching RVD's fire and match ingenuity. Even though the ending wasn't clean, it was still really exciting and the right way to conclude this episode of Smackdown's Kidman/Chavo/Charlie (and now London) saga. I was really worried London was just going to go back to obscurity (ie. Velocity) when he returned back from his broken nose injury. Really good to see they're continuing on with London/Kidman, albeit now with the inclusion of Chavo and Charlie, I wonder where all this is going to lead to. 'Kidman vs. everyone that he has injured' storyline is probably the best one going on Smackdown at the moment."

Backstage: Chavo Guerrero and Charlie Haas welcome back Paul London to Smackdown. They obviously planned the attack on Kidman earlier with London. Billy Kidman comes bursting in shouting at the three of them that they are all going to pay. He says if all three of them didn't want to get hurt, then they should have never decided to step into the ring with him. It's their fault. He says but now it's personal and he'll gladly injure the three of them again just like he did before. Kidman suddenly stops talking as Chavo, Charlie and London get up close to him, Kidman realises he's actually completely out numbered and decides to retreat immediately but not before saying that they better watch out.

Backstage: Paul Heyman and JBL are talking. JBL smiles and says that he didn't get what Heyman meant last week when he told him that he would help him out in a huge way in the very near future, and that JBL 'wouldn't regret it', if he permanently took out Hardcore Holly, but now with Heyman becoming GM, he completely gets what he meant. JBL says that he has one question however, how did Heyman know before hand that Vince was going to make him GM? Heyman smiles but doesn't answer the question.

"My Opinion: Hmmm. So Heyman knew before hand that he was going to become GM last week? Or at least they're hinting it here. The plot thickens.....could Vince and Heyman be in cahoots or something?"

Recap: Last week, Booker T defeated Mark Jindrak; and Rey Mysterio and Spike Dudley battled to a double countout, to advance to the semi-finals.

Match Backstory: Rey Mysterio and Cruiserweight Champion, Spike Dudley have had a rivalry stemming from early July this year. A face Spike turned on his 'good friend' Rey after winning the Cruiserweight Championship off him. And thus aligning with his brothers the Dudley Boys. They have met several times since then including the four way at the Survivor Series where Spike was able to pin Rey after holding the tights. Now they have been paired up together in the US Championship Tournament. Last week saw the intensity of their feud get out of control as they battled to a double count out after brawling on the outside. This week, Booker T was supposed to get a bye but new GM Paul Heyman has decided to make both Rey and Spike advance instead of being eliminated, and now Booker must face them both in a triple threat match.

US CHAMPIONSHIP Tournament Semi-Finals / Triple Threat:

Booker T - vs- Rey Mysterio -vs- Spike Dudley

Pretty decent triple threat here. The focus in this match was basically the long rivalry between Rey and Spike. Booker seemed like a sidedish but still getting very decent pops. Rey manages to hit the 619 on Spike setting him up for the West Cost Pop. However Booker knocks Rey off the apron then hits the Scissors Kick on a stumbling Spike for the pin. Great match.

Winner: Booker T by pinfall at 13 minutes.

An angry Spike takes his frustration out on Rey, pounding on his back. Booker will now go on to Armageddon to face his former Raw tag partner, Rob Van Dam in the finals of the US Championship Tournament.

"My Opinion: Very good match, not quite as good as RVD vs Kidman but still better than most tv matches. Although rather predictable who would win, it was still better than allowing Booker the straight bye. It looks like Rey vs Spike could be set in stone for Armageddon or something. So it will be RVD taking on Booker T in the finals now, that's pretty cool, especially with their Tag Team Championship history over on Raw before they got drafted this year. Both these Armageddon matches would be great."

Backstage: Kurt Angle approaches JBL and tells him that tonight in their tag match, JBL is going to follow his lead. JBL protests and says as WWE Champion, Angle should be following his lead. Angle tells him there's no freakin' way. It was Angle who gave JBL multiple opportunities to finally become the WWE Champion when he was GM, and he better not forget about that. Angle says that tonight they will be partners, but after Armageddon, since he is the postponed number one contender, Angle will be coming for JBL's gold......that is assuming JBL won't lose it at Armageddon first.

Backstage: Paul Heyman is talking with the Big Show. Heyman says that they had a great partnership last year when he was GM the first time, and he wants that to continue now. Big Show says that it's fine with him, he has no beef with Heyman, but as long as Heyman gives him the title shot at Armageddon. Heyman says that he thinks Show is deserving of the shot but he needs to prove it in the tag match coming up next. Show says he will. Before Show leaves, Heyman asks him if it's true what Booker T said, that the locker room thinks he stole the GM position, that he's not deserving of it. Big Show says he's afraid to say it, but it's true. Heyman appears to be rather disturbed by this. He then asks, does Big Show think Heyman deserves the GM position? Heyman waits for a reply, but Show just looks at Heyman for a while then leaves (I guess if you have nothing good to say, then don't say anything at all). Heyman looks to be pissed off by Big Show as he walks away.

"My Opinion: Finally the eventual crumbling of the face/heel alliance of these two has become evident."

Match Backstory: Kurt Angle and Eddie Guerrero will face each other in a special 2/3 Falls Match at Armageddon to settle their epic feud once and for all, but tonight they will be battling it out in tag team competition. Last week, Big Show demanded to get Angle's Armageddon title shot to face JBL, and he will now get a chance to prove whether he's worthy of it.

MAIN EVENT

Eddie Guerrero & Big Show

-vs-

Kurt Angle & WWE Champion, JBL w/Orlando Jordan

Plenty of time was given to this match and I guess it was alright, nothing too special though. But what I did like about it was that it was pretty much a clean match. A clean main event tag match...wow. Even Orlando Jordan didn't interfere. The ref eventually loses control of Eddie and Angle as they proceed to brawl on the outside, spilling out into the crowd. Back in the ring, Big Show attempts a Chokeslam but JBL reverses it landing behind Show. JBL rebounds off the ropes for a Clothesline from Hell but Show catches him again, and hits a huge Chokeslam...

Big Show has pinned the WWE Champion!

Winners: Eddie Guerrero & Big Show by pinfall at 16 minutes

Kurt Angle and Eddie Guerrero are still brawling in the crowd, all the way out the entrance door.

"My Opinion: Long main event, and pretty decent one at that, although nothing really special. It was very apparent that Angle and Eddie were the ones carrying this match although JBL wasn't too far behind surprisingly. JBL gets pinned again.....in a tag team match, so he is still undefeated in singles matches since before Wrestlemania 20, pfft. So I guess now Big Show has proved himself worthy of a title shot by pinning the champion."

Big Show grabs the mic and tells Heyman to come out and name him the number one contender at Armageddon against JBL, seeing as he just pinned the WWE Champion. Paul Heyman makes his way out to the ring. Heyman says that Big Show pinning JBL was definitely impressive, and yes Big Show is deserving of a title shot......but not at Armageddon. Big Show takes a few steps towards Heyman asking him what's the deal. Heyman backs up and tells Show to relax. He says that Big Show impressed him so much just now, that he's had a change of plans for him (probably due to Show pissing off Heyman earlier). Heyman says he needs Big Show for a different match at Armageddon, and if Big Show wins this match, well not only wins the match but utterly destroys his opponent, then he will be more than happy to give Big Show his deserved title shot. Big Show asks what Heyman is playing at. Heyman says that him and Show are friends and he just wants this little favour from Show first. Show asks who his opponent at Armageddon is. Heyman says Big Show will face....

.... THE UNDERTAKER!

The crowd pops big. Big Show reinterates that so if he defeats the Undertaker at Armageddon then he will get his title shot. Heyman says yes, but not just defeating the Undertaker, he wants Show to destroy him. Big Show thinks about this for a little while, before nodding his head and telling Heyman that they have a deal, as the crowd now starts to boo the face Big Show. Big Show leaves the ring and heads up the rampway to the back. Heyman says that Undertaker's day of reckoning will come at Armageddon and he can't wait.

JBL, who is still recovering on the outside from the Big Show Chokeslam, slowly gets into the ring with Heyman. He asks Heyman if Big Show isn't going to face him for the WWE Championship at Armageddon, then who will? Heyman says not to worry, because JBL will face a very worthy contender, JBL will be facing the man who won the US Championship on his debut, JBL will be facing Carlito Caribbean Cool at Armageddon!! (say what?)

On cue, Carlito Caribbean Cool makes his way out into the ring. He says he knew Big Show wasn't going to get the shot, there was no way that oaf was going to get it over him. Carlito thanks Heyman for this opportunity and tells JBL that if history is to repeat itself, he will win the WWE Championship on his first go. JBL laughs and says he'd like to see that. The two men stare each other down before breaking into smiles and shaking hands. Heyman is about to speak when.....

Former GM Theodore Long suddenly makes his way out to the ring. Heyman asks what the hell is Long doing here, Smackdown has no purpose for him anymore. Long says while that may be true, he has an announcement that all three of them would be very interested in hearing. Long says that before he was fired from the GM position, he already named who was going to face JBL for the title at Armageddon, as one of his final acts as GM. Heyman says he can't do that. Long says that it was already made official while he was still the GM. He says JBL isn't going to face Kurt Angle, the Big Show, and he's certainly not going to face Carlito Caribbean Cool. A pissed off Carlito stands face to face with Long and demands to know who Long gave "his" number one contenders spot to. Long looks directly into Carlito's eyes and says the number one contender to face JBL for the WWE Championship at Armageddon will be...

.... JOHN CENA!

Crowd roars with excitement. Heyman and JBL do not look too happy as Carlito is going insane. Long tells Carlito not to feel left out, because after Armageddon, he's sure Cena will get his revenge on the man who threw him off the stage at Survivor Series. Carlito's eyes widens with a look of anger yet fright. Long then leaves as the three men are left in the ring still in disbelief.

*show ends*

Show Ending Excitement Factor: Theodore Long announcing that JBL will defend his title against John Cena at Armageddon.

"Final Thoughts: After the Survivor Series confrontation between JBL and Cena, I'm sure a lot of people would have predicted these two to face each other at Armageddon. But with Cena now 'injured' and the involvment of Carlito and Big Show wanting JBL's shot, I completely forgot about the Doctor of Thuganomics' involvement.. It was all the more sweeter that Theodore Long announced John Cena as the number one contender right in Carlito's face (hah).

The overall inring action tonight was superb, far better than last week (which really sucked), and the matches were given plenty of time, with a lot of clean finishes. Kudos has to be given to the two Semi-final matches, the RVD vs Booker T at the ppv should be good. "
