Looks pretty cool... but i really hope all the travelling and training doesn't take up an hour of the movie. I really want to see BATMAN. I get the faint feeling that if Nolan and WB are not careful, the movie could end up with a slight Hulk-type problem, where they spend so much time on down to earth character story, that they forget the audience is there to see the title character!!!

It's already pretty well known that this is more of a Bruce Wayne movie than Batman. From what I've heard he doesn't appear in the suit until well into the movie. You didn't really think they'd waste this steller cast on just a typical comic book film did you.

 

Didn't think it was possible, but now I'm looking forward to seeing this even more than before.

But it won't matter if the studio is aware of this and fully support the direction of the film.

 

The major problem "THE HULK" hit was I don't think the studio was fully aware what they were getting and when they got back the numbers, they didn't feel it was a good enough series to support.

 

"Batman Begins" could head into "Hulk" territory but it should be safe if the WB fully supports it. And they seem like they do.

Wow... the scope and scale of this project impress the hell out of me. The visuals already look awesome, Neeson's Ducard looks cool as hell, and Bale is just note perfect in this trailer.

I wouldn't mind a story driven Batman. You can say the same about The Hulk...but Hulk was just boring with characters that didn't make you care about the movie.

HULK's problem wasn't pacing or character development time.

 

Hulk's problem was that it spent the movie building up a confrontation between Hulk and his father and then gave us Hulk vs. a big cloud. A better ending would have made Hulk a nearly perfect comic book movie.
