{''({o..o})''} 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2004 News broke on the 10th, with WM being on the 14th. This doesn't mean that the meeting took place that week, just that it was when we heard about it. EDIT: He met with Vince McMahon last week at Smackdown and voiced his concerns and informed him at that time that he was going to leave WWE. HTQ is correct. Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2004 But Brock was going to face the Undertaker at Judgment Day according to the early plans so Eddie probably would have still defended against Bradshaw anyway. Jobbing to The Undertaker wouldn't have done anything for Brock so I don't see the harm done in him leaving at such an unimportant time (it was a 2nd rate PPV for goodness sake). Booker T winded up taking his place. Anyway, I wouldn't be surprise if WWE saying Brock isn't welcomed back is just an elaborate smoke screen to surprise us when Brock shows back up out of nowhere (being a surprise RR entry would be awesome). JR denied the nWo and Scott Steiner coming to WWE until they actually showed up.
Precious Roy 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2004 Oh yeah, I'm not buying this "we don't want him back" shit for a SECOND, it's so transparent. Shit, back when he first walked the word was that Vince was looking at the positives in terms of publicity and was willing to do business with him again down the line so this complete 180 doesn't make any sense, not to mention Vince's track record. This just further confirms that Brock is on his way back, sooner rather than later.
Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2004 They could be doing that to make Brock sweat, or to possibly make Brock think about offering to take less money in order to come back.
Hunter's Torn Quad 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2004 Make no mistake about it, WWE want Brock back, but they want him back on their terms, not his. All this talk about not wanting him back, etc, is just their way of letting him know that they're not going to come him with open arms, and that he'll, probably literally, have to come begging to them. Brock isn't in great financial shape right now. He's not broke by any means, but he's spent a lot of the money he made in WWE, and he's going to be needing a new income eventually. And when that time comes, one of the options he'll undoubtedly pursue is WWE, and then they'll start talks, and you can bet he won't be getting the same level of money he got before.
