WMP Problems

Ever since I upgraded from 9 to 10, every time I DL a video and watch it, the picture cuts out a ways into it. All the videos I had before the upgrade work fine, however.

Meh...like an idiot, I downloaded it too. Should have just kept 9. But rahter then start a new thread..I have a question.

 

How in the heck can you change the color!? It's just bright blue, and it looks retarded. (And I don't mean skin..I don't really like using skins, but how do I change the background color for instance, if there's anyone with it that knows.)

I had the same problem. I could view anything with verion 9.0, then I downloaded v10 and I can't even view simple .AVI files. It always has errors downloading the necessary codecs. I've tried manually downloading them myself and had no luck. I just gave up and downloaded a DIVX player. Don't know what caused this.

I rolled back to 9.0 to see if it would fix the problem, but it still does it. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't have WMP10 so I can't help you there, but you should really try an alternate player like Media Player Classic or BSPlayer. It's better in pretty much every way.

I must be in the minority, cause ever since I upgraded to v.10 I haven't had a problem at all. Sorry that I couldn't be of any help.

Just for the record, I DL'ed Media Player Classic and am now using it to play all my videos. Thanks for the tip.

How do you save downloaded files played with WMP? Or realplayer for that matter?
