Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted December 21, 2004 Here comes the "Brady is over rated and Patriots are over rated" comments heading into NY. Don't you think he's overdue? Sure; He should learn how to handle "you suck" comments and criticism. Manning, Favre, Mcnair, Culpepper, McNabb do...Why should he get away with not being criticized. It must suck be a Bears fan that has nothing more to do than hate on the rest of the league. If you keep this up then Santa will give Sosa a 5 year extension with the Cubs. Dr. Tyler; Captain America 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2004 I've been a Steeler fan forever. I was simply more negative before this year. I'm of the stillers.com persuasion in terms of being a fan; we criticize the living fuck out of the team even when they win. Doesn't mean I'm not a fan, however. 2GOLD 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2004 I know Tyler is from Pittsburgh, but I don't seem to remember him getting all hot and heavy about the Steelers until they started doing well. No, he was. He was just waiting for a collapse. When it didn't happen, he celebrated. This is great news for the Bills fans. Now if Pittsburgh wins next week, the Steelers have no reason to push. I still dislike Tom Brady. I'm just wondering how long till the "NOTRE DAME SCREWED US! FUCK YOU CHARLIE!" comments start since I'm sure they'll blame Brady's lack of readiness on Charlie being distracted. I just shrug it off. Nothing matters till playoff time. Course they STILL should have just let Adam kick from the Patriots own 20...he would have drained it with yards to go.
Slovakia 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2004 Tom Brady had a bad night because Stuart Scott didn't clean his pipes enough before the big game.
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2004 Oh please. The guy won two Super Bowls. That is the only reason. And they have been saying Brady has struggled this year. The only pipes that are constantly cleaned on ESPN are Michael Vick, Ray Lewis and Donovan McNabb.

cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2004 Dolphins win 29-28. I hope after tonight that all this Brady shit will die down a bit. He was horrid tonight with 4 INTs, including some really dumbshit decisions. I mean what WAS that INT where he was almost on the ground. I mean people the gameplan has been RIGHT THERE for the world to see. The Steelers showed everyone what to do: Blitz the motherfucker! Seriously, it seemed like Brady hadn't faced much of anyone with a fierce pass rush until that game. Or if he did and struggled the Pats still eeked out a narrow win. Put him on his ass a few times like tonight and he got rattled. Yeah he might burn you a few times, but it's worth it if you can get a muti INT game.

I'm of the stillers.com persuasion in terms of being a fan; we criticize the living fuck out of the team even when they win. Doesn't mean I'm not a fan, however. It also doesn't mean they feel they should support their team during the losing times. I remember waving my colors for the Pats during their many 5-11 seasons along with a 3-13 one or something like that during the run. Slayer can confirm this. Also for the record Brady just lost his 14th game of his career. Not too shabby.

Dr. Tyler; Captain America 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2004 Honestly, I'm still scared to death of the Pats. It's just nice that the Steelers will get to play it at home, in all likelyhood.
Only The Strong Survive 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2004 The Dolphins played some scary D for a team that doesn't even have a hope of making the play-offs. Leave it to the Patriots to blow a big win in a game they could have easily dominated.
Slayer 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2004 As for the Steelers possibly getting HFA... big f'king deal. Cowher's had HFA four times in the last decade, and look where that's gotten them Between them and Philly, it doesn't seem like Pennsylvania is a tough place to go
Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted December 21, 2004 This might hit people as a surprise...but John Elway, Joe Montana, Steve Young, Bret Favre, Johnny Unitas, Peyton Manning, Dan Marino, Randall Cunningham, Ron Jaworski and every other QB had shitty games before. Brady just makes sure those shitty games doesn't happen in the playoffs like Favre annually does along with Marino in his day.

Precious Roy 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2004 GAME!!! HOME FIELD!!! There's still two more games but whatever. They went into Pitts for the first SuperBowl and won. Thank god Ty Law will be back next week. I can't take anymore of Earthwind Moreland. The fact the patched up secondary went this far without being exposed is a miracle. Word, but I have a feeling the experience that Gay and Earthwind "& Fire" Mooreland have gotten will be a boon come playoff time. Silver lining my friend...... Guest Failed Mascot Report post Posted December 21, 2004 Things that killed the Pats tonight. Punt coverage Penalties The secondary; namely Earthwind Moreland and Asante Samuel Brady had 3 TDs along with those 4 INTs. They wouldn't have even been in the game without him. I still say the Pats when fully healthy are the best team in the NFL.

Shut up. 2002 was Vick Love. 2003 was McNair Love. 2004 is Manning love. Brady is always under the radar with ESPN. Seriously your whole "Brady is constantly sucked off by espn" routine is pathetically overblown considering this season they pratically named the channel ESPMANNING. That secondary was being held together with duck tape. If Law doesn't come back 100%, the Pats are DEAD in the playoffs. Hopefully it can get healthy, cause I get the feeling the Patriots might need to win 3 straight Super Bowls to earn any respect. Except from some Steeler fans, who respect the Patriots beat em up defense. Much like I really respect the Steelers. Punch em in the mouth defense IS what should win Super Bowl titles.
