Favre shakes his head at it and goes "Its one bad game. move on"...and then he does a brilliant game next week and those same doubters hail him as "The Great Favre at his best and he has a long career left for him".

I guess that means that the Packers have enough tie-breakers against the remaining teams that can finish 8-8 (Carolina,Minnesota,Rams, Saints) that they are guaranteed a Wild Card spot.

He has nothing to play for except statistical purposes. They clinched the divison and they can't contend for Home Field. Shouldn't he "rest" Harrison and Edge and himself when they are playing one the of the vicious d's around

I'm about to hit 10,000 posts, provided that Ray Lewis and the Baltimore Ravens don't get in my way. Maybe he likes his job and wants to play because he enjoys the game.
