Braves acquied Tim Hudson

Recommended Posts

I've run the simulation three times, and gotten three different orders. The Phillies finish anywhere from first to fourth. The only common thread is that the Washington Nationals finish last every time.

Oh hi. We're not contending for the wild card.

I have a feeling this will ring true in Philly as well this year.

I meant we're still aiming for the Central. Why would we concede the division before the 2005 calendar year even starts? Geez. As for Philly, like I said, Atlanta is the team until proven otherwise.

It's always a good week to be a baseball fan when you're Bob Barron.

That's about the only time someone could be envious of Barron

You know, I've run through the simulation four times (each simulation runs for 1,000 games), and I've gotten three different winners. And that's with the computer knowing the expected output from each player. I think that illustrates the randomness and unpredictability of the baseball season. 25 players could go off in 25 different directions. A player you'd never expect could break out, and another might suffer an equally unexpected collapse. This stuff is insanely difficult to predict.

Except the Nationals. They finish last every time.

Guest The Shadow Behind You

Which means of course the Nationals win 106 games this year and sweep the Yankees in the Series.
