I swear I saw New Jack

Recommended Posts

Okay, I work at this Kroger store in Dayton, OH, and I SWEAR I saw New Jack, of all people, trying to place a Western Union at the front office. I'm sure it was just a guy who bore a striking resemblence, but his head did look a little scarred, does anyone know if New Jack was at an indy show in the Southwest Ohio area over last weekend?

He was in NJ on Friday, for FUSION Pro Wrestling. Then he and indy manager Eric Simms hung out in NJ for all of Saturday and then flew out of NJ Sunday morning. He moved out of Florida a few months ago, I know that much. Hope that helped. New Jack is a character.

Yeah I figured it wasn't him, but the guy there was a dead ringer, dead ringer I tell you.

He was in a shitty little bar around the corner from my house earlier this year. I just walked over, asked him if he was New Jack, he said yeah, I said nice to meet you, and I used to enjoy seeing you at the Arena, he said thanks. He was nice, but also appeared a little like he didn't want to be bothered.

I just went back across the bar where I was sitting, and sent him over a shot of Jack Daniels.

Apparently Chris Jericho paid a visit to the same Kroger sometime in 1998. A cashier was telling me how he was there one day. I wasn't at work that day. Only day I ever wished I was at work.

And my grandmother ran into Ahmed Johnson onetime when he was Big T, at a Walgreen's of all places, although how my grandmother knew it was Ahmed Johnson is the stranger part of that story.

On a similar note, I actually TALKED to Mustafa Saed or whatever that name was at my workplace.

He's a friend...maybe brother...to someone that works where I work.

Anyone know what Mustafa's up to right now? Last time I saw him he was in XPW in 2000, and I think he moved to the UK and worked some shows there, but I haven't heard've him since around mid-2000.

I'm not exactly sure.

ALl I know is that he has a son...and a short hairstyle.

It's amazing that I didn't recognize him out of his Gangsta attire.

I'll never forget when I was working for RF Video in Attleboro, MA some huge fat ass and his father came around snatching up everything New Jack related. I immeadiately recognized it was Eric Kulas, since he "worked" some matches as Mass Transit in NEWA (a low level indy from Rhode Island).

He kept asking me about the New Jack Shoot interview that had just came out at the time, asking me all these questions about him. At this point they hadn't gone to trial yet (at least not Civil, not sure about Criminal), so I thought it was kinda interesting they where snooping around.

They walked away with a New Jack Shoot Interview, two New Jack t-shirts, and a New Jack ECW action figure, hoping to get an autograph I'm sure to remember his 15 minutes of fame.

As far as I know the only way he'd ever see New Jack face to face again was at trial. One of the guys involved Tiny The Terrible (a midget "worker" from the area) said that Kulas was just an overzealous mark, and if given the chance probably would have done an angle with New Jack stemming from the incident.

I really hate New England sometimes.. LOL
