The Panthers' route is by far not only the most interesting, but also amazingly possible. This is a GREAT lineup of NFL action. Only two games that seem lackluster are Cleveland-Miami and Buffalo-San Fran. I think the Arizona-Seattle game has some intrigue to it, since McCown's been named the starter for the final two games, and he's gotten the Cardinals the closest to a winning franchise moreso than the other folks. And we all know what he's capable of doing in the last week or two of the regular season. Just ask any Viking fan. Speaking of which.. This Magic Moment.. MARTYEWR 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2004 Well, needless to say, the Bills SHOULDN'T be eliminated after this weekend. Now, we just need some help from the Titans, Steelers, and Texans.
JustJoe2k5 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2004 Carolina has a very possible chance of atleast getting half-way closer to a playoff spot by the end of this weekend. New Orleans, St. Louis, and Chicago could all easily lose their games. Seattle also has a fairly easy home game they could win. If Minnesota defeats Green Bay and wins their division, does that mean that the first round matchups of the playoffs change, right now Carolina would play Green Bay would they play Minnesota if Minnesota wins the division? packwingfn 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2004 I believe the loser of this game would play Seattle and the winner would play the 6th seed.
packwingfn 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2004 Why is Sherman challenging that? EDIT: Oh Stupid guys from in the booth.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted December 24, 2004 Fuck Rossley and Slowik. Get down on the sidelines with the players, and the noise, fuckin pussies. Well, at least they were able to stop a Randy Moss catch. Amazing... EDIT: *JUST* as I said that, Slowik is on the sidelines with the players, pissed off. Awesome. Edit: And it s doesn't help at all with Moss scoring a TD off a flip from Culpepper. Bastards. I still somehow expect the Vikings to choke, even if it that usually doesn't come till later in the season.
packwingfn 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2004 Classy move by Moss Too bad it was a touchdown pass
packwingfn 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2004 Good drive. and FINALLY a first-half touchdown!
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2004 Eh, we needed a time-out before going for that 4th down anyway. I have a feeling this'll be one of those shorten-your-life-by-a-couple-of-years games.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted December 24, 2004 Doesn't matter, it is right now. Green Bay's out of challenges. I don't think I would have even bothered with that, even if it did look like it was a TD the first go-round. EDIT: I think Sherman's learned his lesson about being too conservative in big games. There went his two challenges and he's gone for it on 4th and goal in the first half. Nice!
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted December 24, 2004 This game is playing out almost EXACTLY like the first meeting, but reversed and Burleson seems like he's taking up that Moss role now with another big play, this time for a TD. *sigh*
packwingfn 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2004 I thought with us controlling the ball would give our defense a break and not get tired but it turns out I was wrong.
mike546 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2004 Jesus Christ. Anybody wanna play D?
packwingfn 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2004 Mike Tice is the biggest idiot, close to Mike Martz Man we might just wanna leave our defense on the sidelines, and just give them the touchdown after those 2, 1 play touchdowns Our offense is playing well however. 2 good drives, hopefully it tires out Minnesota's defense. Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted December 24, 2004 Stop bitching, Minnesota. That was a smart thing to do in Green Bay being able to take that phantom timeout by having to bring out the sticks, and Longwell gets it from 42 yards. Longwell for MVP!
Slayer 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2004 It's funny how the Vikings scored two TDs on two plays in :42 But not so funny how they continually let GB keep driving back up the field on them
packwingfn 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2004 This really reminds me of the Indy-GB game.
Guest Failed Mascot Report post Posted December 24, 2004 Old man Favre isn't gonna be able to stay up for the Wheel tonight with the amount he's been on the field.
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2004 Meh, I'd rather put together solid drives over and over instead of relying on the big play for points. That defense will tire out, and that's when Green will turn the Metrodome from Favre-killer to his own personal playground.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted December 24, 2004 ^^ I don't think so, not at all. Green Bay would need to be coming right back at Minny immediately after they score for it to be like the Indy-GB shootout.
packwingfn 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2004 Walkers been quiet so far.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted December 24, 2004 YES! Where the hell was that catch made? It looked like it went through Walker and it somehow ended up in his hands. Finally, a lead!
packwingfn 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2004 As soon as I say it, Walker emerges!!!! KGB HAS BEEN QUIET TODAY hahaha
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted December 24, 2004 Yeah, Ahman Green hasn't been doing much on the ground either, and where has Darren Sharper been today? I haven't heard his name..
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2004 The Packers' tackling has been average at best.
NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted December 24, 2004 I am hoping for a Minnesota win this week because that will wrap up the division for them and since they can't move up any higher in playoff rankings with a win next week, they should rest some starters against the Skins, who can possibly make the playoffs by winning out......more on this later
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted December 24, 2004 What the hell is it with all these punk covers of Christmas songs lately? Good god.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted December 24, 2004 OMG COVERAGE! IMAGINE THAT! Now they just need to learn how to tackle again. If I were the Vikings, I'd start cramming Bennett down Green Bay's throat.
