Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted December 25, 2004 Is the rock rumored and doing EVERY action movie for the next 10 years?
DerangedHermit 0 Report post Posted December 25, 2004 I couldn't buy the Rock as He-Man. Call me a racist if you want, but He-Man was always a big blonde white guy, and out of the two, HHH fits the role the best. The Rock is hands down a better actor, but HHH LOOKS the role, and I would rather see it go to him. Only question is who would play Prince Adam? Would they have he and He-Man be the same size like in the original cartoon, or cast a short, skinny guy to be Adam? Fro 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2004 They'd have Trips off the cycle filming the Prince Adam scenes, then reshoot in a couple months after some heavy roiding. Really interesting casting decision because I think both of them could pull it off. They're a little old for the part (especially HHH), but they could pull off both characters. Adam is basically a whiney cowardly heel and He-Man is a badass face. It's pretty basic wrestling-type stuff here.

ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted December 26, 2004 I wonder if this version will be as bad as the 80s one...
Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted December 26, 2004 the 80's was bad at least in my mind back when I was a kid because they left the true forumli. Instead of remaining on the planet and being quasi Medieval with just the swords and standard weapons, they made it quasi Futuristic and forced it shit its way on earth. Only good part of the movie was a young shapeless courtney cox, the guy that would become Ensign Paris from Voyager and the Bald cop who was the principal in Back to the Future.... Dolph however I prefer him doing B style Military bullshit movies. Men of War ...ROCK for cable.
