Wooo, didn't know they actually call it the CZW Arena, thought it was the fans, but now that I look on the site they have CZW Arena all over it. That's ridiculous.

H8 Club/IWS guys is an interesting pairing, but I dunno about it. Surprising that Kaos is getting the Ironman title shot so early, especially after losing at COD. Sonjay/Shelley looks good, but other than that...the thought of Chris Cash in the same ring as Super Dragon is disturbing, except if it happens hopefully Dragon just beats the living shit out of him. CZW has done a lot better.

I personally HATE the idea of Gage and Pain vs. El Generico & Beef Wellington, but everything else could be good. I haven't seen Kaos since he came to CZW so I don't know how he is doing, but I haven't heard good things. I'm sure BBoy can pull something good out of him. I haven't seen a good Messiah match in a while (mostly because his opponents have sucked) so I don't have my hopes up for him. Sonjay vs. Shelly should be good. I like both of those guys a lot. Team Cash vs. SD and Ex should also be awesome...no matter the pairing.

I haven't really cared about CZW for a while now. I like a good portion of the guys (BBoy and the other SoCal guys, IWS guys, Mid South guys, Dutt, Cash, etc...) but there are certain wrestlers I really can't watch (Messiah (whether it be his fault or not), Gage, Pain, Hatred, Beater, Flash, some of the students). Sadly, the guys I don't care for are the "main eventers" so I end up ignoring what should be the most important part of the show.

I haven't wanted to plop down 20 for a "regular show" since the Trifecta show from this year (I've gotten BOTB 4, TOD 3 and I'll probably get COD 6 in a few weeks, but those aren't "regular shows"). I'm too focused on Quebec feds at the moment.

Young vs. Fraizer has been added.

And why is that?

Whilst the card may not be as stacked as recent CZW shows I'm interested to see what happens at this one seeing as it's supposed to be all about pushing new talent and toning down on the people that the fans don't really want to see as much anymore.

Based on this I still have a little hope for the H8 Club match (although, yes, it's most likely going to be a squash). B-Boy/Kaos seems like a waste of B-Boy really, Kaos has been unimpressive, but perhaps this is his opportunity to shine or something.

Shelley/Dutt had a killer match at the KoTDM 2003 and both have improved tremendously. SBS vs. Team Cash will definately be fun and has plenty potential depending on who makes up team Cash (I'd love to see some Eddy vs. Dragon but think he may end up challenging for the world title)

well i am back online

probably will skip this show perhaps might get tape if something gets pimped real good.

my thoughts so far

b-boy Vs kaos

- it so screams "lets see how good you really are b-boy" at best it will tell if b-boy is on ruckus's level of "can have a good match with inferior workers"

team cash Vs dragon & excalibur

dutt vs shelly

- schould both be real good

h8 club Vs generico & beef

- at least they are starting the new h8 club lower in the card

young Vs frasier

- young has had some real good matches in chikara and frasier is always good so good stuff

messiah vs ?

- hopefully it is ruckus

i saw the 2 ruckus matches in ajpw that made tape

6 man tag with AKIRA & Taichi Ishikari Vs TAKA Michinoku , NOSAWA & MAZADA with was a lot of fun

tag match with Abdullah The Butcher Vs Osamu Nishimura & Jinsei Shinzaki which was suprisingly good

God, Beef & El Generico are going to get killed, and not in the fun kill way. Just the "squashed unmercifully while Nick Gage gives you reckless chair shots" way.

Messiah's problem is definitely the opponents because he can work very, very well. Charisma-wise I'm not a fan of him, but he's an absolute workhorse ring-wise, as is Kaos. It's juat a matter of getting them motivated. When you do that, they do great stuff (Kaos vs. Juvi, vs. Hamrick Free Fall, vs. Angel Free Fall, vs. Doring Fallout, anything vs. Supreme, etc.; Messiah vs. Supreme, Sabu, Candido, Mondo, Pain, sometimes Flash, B-Boy, etc.). The more I think about it, I'm really not liking the H8 Club match. For some reason I was thinking Steen was in the match, but he's not and I'm not really a fan of Beef :( .

I think we may end up seeing H8 Club vs. B-Boy & Chris Hero, version 2...

COD 6 DVD Problems

I recived my COD 6 on Wednesday, I got to the M-Dogg/Sonjay match and my DVD started skipping. I it out and there wasn't a visable scratch or mark on it. Disc 2 & 3 played just fine as did my other DVD's. I tried anther DVD player and it happened again. I contacted SmartMark Video and they sent my another one today, no questions asked. And once again it skips during M-Dogg/Sonjay albeit much later in the match. Is there anybody else that has this problem?

-can hero's boys survive without him

-crossbones/oni dual identity(unless they are identicle twins with the same tatoos)

Dark Match: G.Q., Jude, & Cornell Adams defeated John Kermon, Malik, & Sean Bishop.

Dennis Shock opened up the show, joined by promoter Maven Bentley. As the CZW fans ridiculed Bentley, he made the announcement that he is no longer affiliated or employed by The Blackout. His contract with The Blackout expired on 12-31-04. Happy New Year, Blackout! After this shocking announcement, the self-proclaimed "Savior of CZW" Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli entered the building through the crowd. Hero publicly fired Blackjack Marciano for failing to help him retain the CZW Iron Man Title against B-Boy.

Zandig hit the ring, getting in both Bentley & Hero's faces. Zandig, not cleared to wrestle (pointed out rather rudely by Bentley), brought out his own trusted ring veteran, Jon Dahmer to take on The Savior of CZW.

Jon Dahmer pinned Chris Hero.

The finish saw Dahmer deliver the "Move of 1,000 Maniacs" to Hero, who was distracted by Zandig's taunting. D.J. Hyde came to the ring and prevented Claudio's interference in the bout.

Derek Frazier pinned Niles Young (with Cory Kastle).

The finish saw Frazier deliver "Pure Impact" to Young. Frazier had to contend with Kastle, who interfered on Young's behalf.

Nate Webb, D.J. Hyde, Mike Quackenbush, & Jigsaw defeated Claudio Castagnoli, Hallowicked, Ravage, & Crossbones.

Nate Webb, co-holder of the CZW World Tag Team Championship, scored the pin on Hallowicked to win the bout.

Maven Bentley then came out and announced an assured Heretic, Ghost Shadow, & Spiral that they would indeed face the "top competition" in CZW they that wanted.

The Blackout (Ruckus, Sabian, & Eddie Kingston) defeated Heretic, Ghost Shadow, & Spiral.

Eddie Kingston scored the pinfall on Heretic after Ruckus delivered a springboard-seated dropkick into a steel chair positioned on Heretic's face.

The H8 Club (Nick Gage & Justice Pain) defeated Beef Wellington & El Generico.

The H8 Club successfully took out the combination after delivering a spike piledriver to Beef Wellington onto a steel chair. Post-match, the group brutalized Generic & Wellington with a table. The H8 Club made it clear that if any "New Blood" wanted to rise in "their" company, they'd have to go through the H8 Club to do so.

Alex Shelley pinned CZW Junior Heavyweight Champion Sonjay Dutt to win the title.

In a junior heavyweight clinic, Shelley was able to bridge Dutt to the mat for the pinfall and end the 1+ year title reign! Post-match, the two shook hands, as Alex Shelley promised to live up to the lofty expectations that the previous titleholders had instilled into holding the championship. The fans applauded for both men afterwards.

CZW World Tag Team Champions Chri$ Ca$h & Sexxxy Eddy defeated Super Dragon & Excalibur to retain the titles.

Ca$h was able to pin Excalibur after delivering the "Marking Out", following interference from The Blackout.

During the introductions of the next match, Adam Flash came to the ring, upset that Kaos, after receiving multiple title shots and failing, was receiving yet another. Flash was restrained and removed from the ringside area by CZW Security.

CZW Iron Man Champion B-Boy pinned Kaos after delivering the Shining Wizard to retain the title.

Flash once again made his way to the ring, meeting Kaos atop a ladder that had been set up in the ring. B-Boy welcomed Flash to the ring by pushing the ladder forward, sending Flash crashing into stacked tables set up on the concrete floor. Although Kaos was able to avoid falling into the tables, he was immediately hit the Shining Wizard, allowing B-Boy to retain.

Combat Zone Wrestling would like to apologize for the unforeseen absence of the CZW World Heavyweight Champion Messiah and 1/4th of the CZW World Tag Team Champions J.C. Bailey.

Personal Note: I would also like to apolgize for the lateness of the results.

People on the CZWfans board are saying that attendence was about 130 and the show was pretty bad. It's sad how CZW can never keep the ball rolling when they come off their biggest show of their year.
