Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted January 1, 2005 Report Posted January 1, 2005 If Texas can smack up Michigan, which I fully expect them to do and the gameday crowd agrees with me, the Big XII will have a winning record in bowls which is better than last year where they went 2-5. Your obsession of the conference bowl record is quite disturbing.
Agent_Bond34 Posted January 1, 2005 Report Posted January 1, 2005 (edited) Fuck that shit. Citrus Bowl will always be the known name, for me. I would have much rather had the game as the "Capital One Florida Citrus Bowl" than just the "Capital One" bowl. Edited January 1, 2005 by Agent_Bond34
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted January 1, 2005 Report Posted January 1, 2005 They are playing in Orlando for the Capital Citrus bowl...who plays in Orlando? Florida? speaking of which, they(IOWA) score really quick with a GREAT pass for a TD.

Art Sandusky Posted January 1, 2005 Report Posted January 1, 2005 HUGE defensive play by Tennessee. Keep this score until the fourth quarter and I'd love to hear a "shutout" chant coming from the Tennessee part of the stadium.

Your obsession of the conference bowl record is quite disturbing. Not like it matters, the SEC's going 4-2. If Texas and OU win then the Big XII goes 5-2. Anyways A&M showed some promise but crapped out on 4th down. If they can make plays like that for the rest of the game and come up with some turnovers they might........MIGHT win the game. But doubtful.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted January 1, 2005 Report Posted January 1, 2005 I dont understand how the gameday crew can honestly evaluate all 4 of the games being played now.
Cartman Posted January 1, 2005 Report Posted January 1, 2005 Just woke up and put on ABC to see the Steelers playing in a bowl game?!

Sorry, but I'm not sold on the poseur UT team's ability to win a big game.
Agent_Bond34 Posted January 1, 2005 Report Posted January 1, 2005 Just woke up and put on ABC to see the Steelers playing in a bowl game?! I see I wasn't alone in thinking this.
Art Sandusky Posted January 1, 2005 Report Posted January 1, 2005 That is just so unbelieveably raw to have two 1,000 yard rushers on the same team.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted January 1, 2005 Report Posted January 1, 2005 I want to say I'm glad to see Michael Munoz get some props here. I knew his sister Michelle and that whole family is a great group of people. He deserves all his success off the field.
Damaramu Posted January 1, 2005 Report Posted January 1, 2005 What is with the Big Ten/SEC bowl games? There are what 4 of them?
Art Sandusky Posted January 1, 2005 Report Posted January 1, 2005 What is with the Big Ten/SEC bowl games? There are what 4 of them? It's really only two. I have no problem with this. Two similar conferences that produce some bone-crunching games. West Virginia makes the game in Jacksonville one to watch. Kinda sad they couldn't sell out the Gator Bowl, even with Florida State there. I hate seeing empty stands on New Year's Day.
Bored Posted January 1, 2005 Author Report Posted January 1, 2005 Actually it's three with the Music City Bowl yesterday.
Agent_Bond34 Posted January 1, 2005 Report Posted January 1, 2005 Florida State in a bowl game, and they couldn't sell it out? HA!
Art Sandusky Posted January 1, 2005 Report Posted January 1, 2005 Actually it's three with the Music City Bowl yesterday. You're right, I forgot Georgia/Wisconsin. I'm lucky to be this lucid right now. Gimme a break.
Bored Posted January 1, 2005 Author Report Posted January 1, 2005 Florida State in a bowl game, and they couldn't sell it out? HA! Those lucky few will get to say they saw Chris Rix's last football game. They should have given out free handicap parking passes to every fan.
Damaramu Posted January 1, 2005 Report Posted January 1, 2005 Man A&M looks like the A&M that played Utah and not the one that took OU to the wire. This is a shit kicking and that defense of A&M is embarassing.
Agent_Bond34 Posted January 1, 2005 Report Posted January 1, 2005 Speaking of Utah... Am I the only one who thinks their matchup with Pitt later tonight could be a sleeper pick for "Game of the Day"? And as I post this... Iowa blocks a punt and gets the ball with good field position and LSU intercepts a screen pass on the very next play. Holy shit.
Art Sandusky Posted January 1, 2005 Report Posted January 1, 2005 The Citrus Bowl is wild. We're getting some good football today, and we're not even halfway home!
Art Sandusky Posted January 1, 2005 Report Posted January 1, 2005 These Mid-America refs are timid or something. They look very uneasy out there.
Agent_Bond34 Posted January 1, 2005 Report Posted January 1, 2005 I just saw that Tennessee is up 35-0, how'd they score?
Art Sandusky Posted January 1, 2005 Report Posted January 1, 2005 I think they just asked the A&M defense to part for a minute.
Agent_Bond34 Posted January 1, 2005 Report Posted January 1, 2005 For a minute? Shit. It seems to me, like the A&M defense has parted for more than a minute.
Art Sandusky Posted January 1, 2005 Report Posted January 1, 2005 The Citrus Bowl is going down as I expected pretty much. Tough, crazy game.
Damaramu Posted January 1, 2005 Report Posted January 1, 2005 This just isn't making sense. The teams OU struggled against are getting rolled but the teams OU rolled are flying high. That's crazy. A&M did get beat by Baylor though......so maybe this isn't so shocking. I still say that Texas D is too much for Michigan to handle.
