Sims 2 No-CD Crack

My sister got The Sims 2 for Christmas and after playing it for a little bit I've become addicted. She is constantly playing it, so I never get a chance to use the CD.

 

I've downloaded 2 No-CD cracks but both screw up in build mode and won't let you create walls, etc.

 

Has anyone found a crack that works? If so where'd you get it?

I can't, its write-protected. But I did figure out another way to get it to work without the CD, if anyone else wants to know how just let me know.

You could probably make an iso, I'm not sure if it would work if you burned it on to a CD. I did something similar using a program called DAEMON Tools. I created a CD image file, and using Daemon I mounted the image to my CD drive instead of having to put the actual CD in. It works quite nicely.

Would copy protection stop you from making an iso?

Copy protection prevents you from making straight up images, I believe. This has been going on for years now. This is the reason programs like Alcohol 120% exist, is to make copies of software discs that otherwise bug out if you just try to make a copy in Nero or something.

Yeah thats what I used, Alcohol 120% to copy it and then DAEMON tools to mount it. If anyone cares.
