thuganomics 0 Report post Posted January 1, 2005 I've been playing my GBA again, and with it nearing the end of its run, I started to wonder waht the best game for the system is. Any opinions?
Guest The Gecko Report post Posted January 1, 2005 I'm really enjoying Final Fantasy I & II Dawn of Souls right now. I also like Mario & Luigi's Superstar Saga.

Agent_Bond34 0 Report post Posted January 1, 2005 That Mario Kart was some fun stuff, IMO. Not saying it's the best GBA game, though. For me, it's too debatable.
Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted January 1, 2005 Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow are on my list. For re-released games, Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past, as well as Mario Advance 4: Mario Bros. 3 (NES), which also included a new feature: New levels when using E-Reader game cards. Guest JebusNassedar Report post Posted January 2, 2005 The best on GBA begins and ends with Astro Boy. Let me give you this simple equation. One of the most well known, and arguably best mangas/animes + Treasure + Sega in a side scrolling action game. If y'dont know Treasure, the bottom line is that the game kicks more ass than humanly possible. Mario & Luigi is pretty good, too. The game can be awkward at times (The whole Hand Power bit comes to mind), but it's pretty fun. The battles are rewarding, but pretty easy, too.
Renegade 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2005 Aria of Sorrow and Advance wars 2 by quite some margin.
Guest Smues Report post Posted January 2, 2005 Metroid: Zero Mission is pretty dang good.
Toshiaki Koala 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2005 Fire Pro Advance was my first GBA game and it's the only one I still play every single day.
The Man in Blak 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2005 I'd probably rank a top three as: 1. Advance Wars 2. Mario Kart: Super Circuit 3. Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow Honorable Mention: Metroid Fusion, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, Fire Emblem
AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted January 3, 2005 Metroid: Zero Mission is pretty dang good. But compared to plenty of other GBA games, as well as Super Metroid/Prime, it's painfully mediocre. It isn't as lame as Fusion, and it's 2 games in one, but hardly the best GBA game. It's currently winning the GBA game of the year poll on GameFAQs. Fools. My personal vote would go to either one of the latter CVs on GBA (I'm one of the few that actually prefers Harmony to Aria, though), or Astroboy. Honorable mention to Wario Ware, Inc., Mario vs. DK, and DKC2 was a great game on SNES so I'd assume it still is on GBA.
Agent_Bond34 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2005 Those polls are way too predictable, it seems. Halo 2 will win the Xbox poll, Metroid Prime 2 will win the GameCube poll, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas will win the PS2 poll.
