Bored Posted January 5, 2005 Author Report Posted January 5, 2005 You know this is so bad that it's too easy to pick on Dama now. The only thing I want out of the guy tonight is to admit Jason White is not Christ himself and that Matt Leinart is the better quarterback. Another Oklahoma turnover. Good lord why bother playing the second half? Sorry Auburn, USC is #1.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 U know...Leinarts having a good game and all but it seems he's throwing alot of incomplete passes as well...but aside from the over the head one a second ago...not all his fault.
Vern Gagne Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 Any true college football fan, would rather have a competive game. Unless your a die and the wool USC fan.
nogoodnick Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 Dama needs to get that stupid picture of White out of his avatar and replace with one of Leinart.
Damaramu Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 OU needs to quit shooting themselves in the foot. It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't turn the ball over! Jesus....morons need to play better. Yeah keep trolling on me guys. Sass said he'd ban anyone that does it.
MrRant Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 People are just pointing out what you have been wrong about.
Vern Gagne Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 Dama needs to get that stupid picture of White out of his avatar and replace with one of Leinart. Get used to it.
Cartman Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 Auburn has ZERO argument right now. That being said I wouldnt say no to the chance to watch USC and Auburn play another game for bragging rights.
2GOLD Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 This game right now is a woodshed payback game. USC felt cheated last year by OU and now they are making the Sooners pay. On the flip side, I feel bad for Oklahoma. They could be on the verge of their second straight title game backside kicking. I'm not making fun of OU or anyone. This has just been a sad display of college football and screams "Game 2"
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 Final 2004 Top 10 Rankings #1-USC #2-Auburn #3-Utah #4-Texas #5-Louisville #6-Oklahoma #7-Boise State #8-Miami #9-California #10-I dont remember Tex and 'Ville's one lost wasn't as lopsided as OK and Cal's were over the postseason
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 Any true college football fan, would rather have a competive game. Unless your a die and the wool USC fan. I did as you can see from my prediction eariler...however this is just as good.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 10 will be Iowa Thank you. I knew it was one of those quiet teams that dont get enough press.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 A 4 TD lead in the first half for USC. ABC must really hate that.
2GOLD Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 Final 2004 Top 10 Rankings #1-USC #2-Auburn #3-Utah #4-Texas #5-Louisville #6-Oklahoma #7-Boise State #8-Miami #9-California #10-I dont remember Tex and 'Ville's one lost wasn't as lopsided as OK and Cal's were over the postseason Can't see Boise State holding in the Top 10, they will probably stumble just a little bit. At the very least, they'll be 10 and Iowa will be nine.
Bored Posted January 5, 2005 Author Report Posted January 5, 2005 They should have saved all the celebrity interviews for the second half.
Vern Gagne Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 Paging Frank Reich. If Frank Reich is in Pro Player Stadium please report to the OU lockerroom.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 You're right but I don't think it'd be fair. Boise St played their asses off against a great 'Ville team to the very end. Cal no-showed and I think Oklahoma is still in the locker room trying to figure out how to open the door.
Damaramu Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 OU needs ONE HELL of a second half. I don't think they can get it done but I hold a small amount of hope. If they'd just play aggressive, not turn the ball over, and play D like they did on that last drive then they have the SMALLEST of chances of winning this game.
2GOLD Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 Bob Stoops looks shell shocked. Or like he wants to catch a cab to the airport and see if Cleveland is still open for a hiring.
GreatWhiteNope Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 Mickey Mouse is starting the second half at QB for OU.
Vern Gagne Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 New Orleans is the more appealing job. Assuming Haslett is fired.
Guest Ether Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 Geesh, I flip it on and it's 35-10 before half. Some great game. At least Pitt kept the Fiesta bowl close till the third quarter.
Damaramu Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 Hopefully OU figures out which side of the field they are defending in the 2nd half. They've always been a good 2nd half team so maybe they can get it close and have a fighting chance. But god damn they'd have to go nuts and USC would have to suddenly lose their minds for OU to win. God damn that's 2 in a row and we aren't going to have the shot for a couple of years b/c of losing all of our seniors. Ah well.....I guess you can't win them all.
Guest Flyboy Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 New Orleans is the more appealing job. Assuming Haslett is fired. Haslett won't be fired.
Damaramu Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 I'm going to hang myself. Excuse me for a second........ They're lucky I'm not coach. I would kick them all off the team, forfeit the game, and fly to a tropical island with all the money I've made off this gig.
Guest Failed Mascot Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 Ah well.....I guess you can't win them all. or any of the important ones for that matter.
Vern Gagne Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 New Orleans is the more appealing job. Assuming Haslett is fired. Haslett won't be fired. So the Saints are happy with another 7-9, 8-8 season?
2GOLD Posted January 5, 2005 Report Posted January 5, 2005 New Orleans is the more appealing job. Assuming Haslett is fired. Haslett won't be fired. I swear he knows voodoo or something. Cause there is no other excuse I can think of. This game can become close in a hurry, or it can become worse. I really hope it doesn't become worse cause I don't want to see OU just ripped apart on National television. Where is that OU quarterback that won the National Championship? Call him up.
