Eclipse 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2005 My friend has a PC, and man it is in DIRE need of RAM upgrades. He has rampant spyware and viruses that have not even let him log on to the PC, and to make matters worse, he has ONLY 112MB of RAM! I do know before I do anything to that PC, he will need a RAM upgrade. How much RAM in total would be sufficient for him? I was thinking along the lines of 256-300MB for the stuff he would wanna run. I've got a new computer with a 64mb integrated video card and it sucks ass, it wont play anything AND it takes 64 mbs up, so instead of having 512 mbs available, its only using 448.
