Guest Evenflow4:20 Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 Used the search function here and in the Puro folder and most of the talk is centred around juniors or strong style. That's all well and good but sometimes you're just in the mood for a fucking sick garbage match the bloodier the better. Throw your favorites in here. I just watched Necro vs. Klien from the 2004 KOTDM and I thought it was just incredible, in fact I'm going to go out on an un-smart~ limb and call it one of my favorite matches from 2004 now that I'm caught up. One of my favorite death matches in recent memory, right up there with Honma vs. Yamakawa from BJPW in 1999. You want all of it.
razazteca Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 Steve Corino is suppose to be the master of the crimsom mask. As for Puro well there is something called the Muta Scale.......research that.

If you watch Joshi puroresu you might want to check out various Kudo and some of Mayumi Ozaki's matches.
JustJoe2k5 Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 What match was it in CZW that ended with John Zandig having a tendon sticking out of his arm? I believe it may have been against Lobo during their feud in 2002. You also can't go wrong with some of the matches from IWA Mid-South's King of the Deathmatch '03 tournament. Balls Mahoney vs. Ian Rotten, Ian Rotten vs. J.C. Bailey, and Necro Butcher vs. Mr. Insanity come to mind.
Brocklock Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 Samoa Joe vs Jay Briscoe is pretty tame compared to the death matches, but their match at At Our Best is extremely bloody. Jay has one of the most gruesome bladejobs I've ever seen up until Eddie topped him two months later at Judgment Day.
Guest SoCalTF Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 What match was it in CZW that ended with John Zandig having a tendon sticking out of his arm? Lobo vs. Zandig No Rope Barbed Wire match from CZW Deja Vu July 13th, 2002.
LucharesuFan619 Posted January 7, 2005 Report Posted January 7, 2005 XPW Baptized In Blood 1-3. CZW TOD 1-3 MAW Hardcore Cup events.
JoeDirt Posted January 8, 2005 Report Posted January 8, 2005 Here's what Jay Briscoe looked like in the cage match with Joe: http://www.whacks.bizland.com/ROH/DSC07632.jpg
Guest mynameisdane Posted January 9, 2005 Report Posted January 9, 2005 Thrillseekers (Chris Jericho & Lance Storm) vs. The Heavenly Bodies 8/5/94 SMW -Jericho dies for the sport. Hiroshi Hase vs. The Great Muta 12/14/92 Japan -The match that inspired Scott Keith's "Muta scale for blading". Shinobu Kandori vs. Akira Hokuto 4/2/93 Japan -Bloodiest joshi I have ever seen. Cactus Jack vs. Terry Funk 1/8/95 KOTDM -Of course. Also, the aforementioned Joe vs. Jay cage match is up there.
