WWE House Show

Recommended Posts

So I got a few good seats for a house show on the 14th at the Target Center, and I want to make sure I get the full experience. Around what time would they wretlers be entering the arena, and what are some other tips that would help out a first timer.

Depends on the arena. A lot of newer arenas now have special entrances and parking lots for the talent blocked away from public view, so you can't get anywhere near the wrestlers.

However; upon leaving the arena, most wrestlers often go out the normal back lots. The higher ups such as Shawn, HHH and McMahons will go out the private secure way.

Get there about a hour early, nothing unless it's a PPV show happens in the area regarding WWE eariler then that. You'll stand in line for about 45 minutes, it's long enough to chat along with other fans but not long enough that you HAVE to bear chatting with them. It's a house show. It looks NOTHING like it is on television. No Titantron or even Pyro except maybe for Kane's ringpost thing. It's very stripped down.

Don't bring a sign. I cant stress how dumb they are period much less with no cameras there.

If it was a PPV or a TV show, I'd tell you to get there around 11 AM, but since its a house show, get there about 2 hours before the show starts because that's when the Superstars normally come. You might even be lucky and some of them might stop and sign stuff, but it will suck ass to take pictures right then and there because usually there's a fucking fence in the way.

Don't bring a sign.

Unless you want to get pointed by the wrestler the sign is about, its always cool to experience!

I remember going to a WcW house show where Meng was wrestling I think Jericho, Jericho complained to the ref once about Meng pulling his hair, then, later in the match Meng did it again and my buddy and I (about 3 rows in) yelled at the ref LOUD as fuck "HE PULLED HIS HAIR" and the ref ad-libbed in an arguement with Meng, which Meng turned into leaving the ring to YELL AT US!!! Holy shit that was the best thing ever. He's scary.

Don't bring a sign unless you are only in the first few rows, otherwise the odds of a wrestler acknowledging your sign are very slim.

I went to a RAW house show the night before Armageddon, and Muhammad Hassan wrestled Tajiri, and someone had a sign in the crowd that said "Check Their Bags" and Hassan & Khosrow Daivari pointed at it all during the match and yelled.

You can bring a sign as long as its:

1) witty

2) close to the ring

3) easily visible
