Phoenix Fury Legdrop 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2005 Candido/Delirious can't help but be ungodly great. Like I've said to a few people online, it's like Flair's bastard child on crack vs. Muta's bastard child on crack (Sasuke too, if you want to get technical). I didn't know the Muscatine Armory allow deathmatch-like matches (or maybe I'm thinking about the Masonic Temple in Rock Island). Either way, Ian killing the Michigan mallrat should be fun. Candido/Delirious was awesome. Candido, for the second consecutive No Limits show, wrestled with his ass hanging out for almost two full minutes, not to mention played the part of "Heel Scared by Delirious' Freakiness" perfectly. And I'm pretty sure you're thinking of the Masonic Temple when it comes to not allowing deathmatches. Forgot to mention that Samoa Joe will be there at the next show as well as Abyss in what will likely be one of his last appearances before hopping over to the WWE. Guest Evolution Report post Posted January 9, 2005 Anything stand out as really good? Sydal/Thomaselli was a nice match. The fans really got into it in the last ten minutes of the match, and they could've watched them go 40 minutes if they wanted to, but there were time constraints. Candido/Delirious is a fantastic comedy match. Boz/Jacobs features good bladejobs from both men, but overall the match is pretty short with the highlight being Jacobs hitting his senton from the top of the cage through a table onto Boz to win the belt. Very emotionally intense match, though, packed into a fairly short amount of time (at least it felt that way, didn't get an official time or anything). Abercrombie died for Rotten, which makes me think Abercrombie/Rotten Barbed Wire will probably be good stuff. Josh didn't even know he was getting a barbed wire match until Ian announced it. But anyway, the FCA match got the best crowd reaction of the night, as they had a nice mix of comedy, brutality, and wrestling. It all worked out, and the crowd ate it up. I don't know how it'll translate to tape. So consider it a show that was probably better live than it'll be on tape.
