How about this idea...We do a tournament or give the winner of CWM vs. Alfdogg the new TV Title.

 

We have the winner of the Hardcore tourny face TSS (Unless he wins the World Title) at the next PPV. Their prize will be a "Hardcore Ring" to wear around their finger.

 

It keeps the belts from getting to WWE level. Where everybody has won a belt.

My bad. I don't like the idea of having a Hardcore Title, though. It takes away the point of having Falls Count Anywhere, No Holds Barred, and Street Fight matches. Hardcore is old. It was "in" a few years back, but now it needs to take a rest.

All worthless titles should be given to the Dungeon of Doom, then they will be lost in the Dungeon and forgotten.

i don't think we should have a hardcore title since we can just have stipulation matches sometimes. plus hardcore matches are harder to write.

hey fellas...i am gonna get a cruiserweight division started...i think it would be a good place for new people to get their feet wet...

 

so like, im keeping the title, and ill start thinking up how to book it after i get done with the angleslam match

The only thing is I don't think we have enough people to seperate the Heavyweight & Lightweight divisions. We only have about 12 people.

My thinking is that as new people come into the OAOAST thread...we can start them at the Cruiser belt level as a intro...lightweight stuff...hehe pun...once they rotate out of that and get the hang of it... they get to have fun

 

its the same principle behind the tv title, just we dont have tv so i keep the wrestling motif

I think some members of the DoD & the In-Crowd should feud for the tag titles. Some aWo guys could also get shots at the titles.

TV title! That way, if there's a "hardcore" grudge match, like the one with me and Sandman9000 at AngleSlam (sure, it's technically for the belt, but we've taken it way past that, to almost scary feud levels), it'll have a lot more meaning than "Dancin' Stevie pins Trish who pinned a Ho (but MY GAWD, how could Trish pin herself?) who pinned The Blue Meanie who pinned Bubba who pinned Dancin' Stevie for 6 title changes in a 2 minute HARDCORE TITLE~! match".

 

By the by, although I love being a part of OAOAT, I haven't gotten ONE title shot... ever... I think I'd make an awesome cruiserweight champion with my... uhh... hardcore style .  Of course, that really wouldn't make sense since Zack and I are teaming with BPP and the Deadly Alliance at the PPV, so... after the PPV sometime? I dunno.  Or a shot at the tag belts would be cool.

Hey Tony, I was actually thinking of posting something on this.  I'd love to get a tag feud going to try and give The In Crowd as a whole a little 'boost'.  Maybe we can work something out leading up to the next PPV, and since it was your idea to 1)book the next PPV and 2)use the tag belts more, you can have a lot of input on how to book the tag title scene.  Is that cool w/ everyone else?

Evenflow, what do you mean that our feud is "almost" scary?  We, rather I, crossed the line a long time ago.

 

And Tony, the reason that people dislike the hardcore title so much is that the WWF has reduced it to nothing but comedy and crappy weapons shots.  Here, we just have to add in some deathmatch elements and actual wrestling, and it becomes a valuable title.

 

For reference, I am basing my ideas for the hardcore division on such matches as Tomoaki Honma (my avatar) vs. Ryuji Yamakawa, "Sick" Nick Mondo/Jun Kasai vs. Justice Pain/Johnny Kashmere (fans bring the weapons), and the bathroom brawls between Chris Benoit and Kevin Sullivan.  Matches, which not only featured weapons and various gimmicks, but also solid wrestling as well.

 

I also see the division as a chance to just take a match completly over the top.  I don't imagine that we are going to see a beds of thumbtacks and nails matches, or others such like it, for the tag titles or world belt, but I could see such a match occuring in the hardcore division, for or not for the belt.

I'm still against a Hardcore Title. Not because of the WWE, because it takes away the point of having other matches that are pretty much the same. BUT, how 'bout this idea....whenever you wrestle Sandman, it's under "Sandman rules". Just like "Raven's Rules". If we did this, everybody gets what they want. The ones who are against the Hardcore title get what they want. The ones for a Hardcore title get what they want. We could also give out the name "The most Hardcore man in the OAOAST" to Sandman. Which would be like having a belt. Since whoever beats him takes over the name.

If a title is useless, then you should job to a Dungeon member.  Considering how they no-sell almost everything, they will never lose the titles.

The Junior Heavyweight is the Cruiser title. It should be renamed if BBP wants to use it like he is, though.

We could do a "hardcore TV cruiserweight" belt, where the running joke is that it can only be contested for by cruiserweights, in hardcore matches, on TV.  And there would only be like one guy who could do all that, so he never defends the belt...

hardcore...i still don't know about that. I mean if someone likes hardcore matches he could just have it be part of his character that he will only wrestle hardcore.
