JangoFett4Hire 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2005 Good news for Pats fans: forecast calling for snow! Bad news: Seymour is on the inactive list- Source: Alan Segal on WBZ.
Cartman 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2005 Seymour being out isn't much of a shock, and it really hurts the Pats defense. They need to get SOME kind of pressure on manning without using the linebackers too much, or at all, to do so. he biggest key to this game is the Pats making sure every reciever is covered well. Give James room to run the ball for his 3-4-5 yard gains up until the red zone, then clamp down. Red zone defense will decide this game for the Patriots. Guest Failed Mascot Report post Posted January 16, 2005 I have faith in Jarvis Green stepping up. He'd be a starting defensive end on alot of other teams. Too bad this injury couldn't wait till next season when Marquis Hill would be ready.

JangoFett4Hire 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2005 Is it snowing in New England right now? Is this going to look like last year? Forecasts say it should start around 6PM... 4-6 inches in southeastern MA...
Guest Failed Mascot Report post Posted January 16, 2005 Its windy out too. Swirling winds...that doesn't help pass happy teams.

2GOLD 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2005 Real nice of the Colts to declare themselves "AFC CHAMPIONS" already. Bet the Steelers are loving that.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2005 This is going to look like last years game. I love it when these things get messy and dirty and the paint gets all over there uniforms and it's just what football should be like.....this game is gonna rock. 2GOLD 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2005 I'll admit, that is actually smart play calling by the Colts for the first drive. Run the ball to make the linebackers come up, throw a short dump pass to try to get them even closer. That is actually very very smart.
Guest Failed Mascot Report post Posted January 16, 2005 off to a good start defensively
Guest Failed Mascot Report post Posted January 16, 2005 This is one hell of an offensive slugfest after the first quarter.

therealworldschampion 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2005 Manning must think he's playing Florida again.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2005 I think that all of the pre-game shows in there rush to compliment the season Manning has had and declare the team unstoppable forgot who The Patriots are. I sure as hell forgot them.....and they're reminding me the hard way right now.
KingPK 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2005 Ok, how the hell was that play not a PI penalty? He rode the guy to the ground. I mean, it's nice the refs are letting them play, but you gotta call the obvious ones.
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2005 how was that NOT intentional grounding? Rhodes was in the area, #32. Ok, how the hell was that play not a PI penalty? He rode the guy to the ground. Ball wasn't catchable. They won't call it when it's obvious a throw away.
KingPK 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2005 Show of hands: who thought this game would turn into a defensive struggle and be 6-0 at the 2 minute warning?
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2005 I'm not going to miss Charlie Wiess. Not one bit. He has an offense that only scores AFTER the opponent scores. It's annoying. They run the ball and they shred the defense. So what do they do? Throw the stupid ball five times in a row. Which does what? Nothing, it leads to nothing. Cuban Linx 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2005 That would have to be the closest the Colts have come to a scoreless half of football in an awful long time.
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2005 That would have to be the closest the Colts have come to a scoreless half of football in an awful long time. Last year vs the Patriots in the AFC title game to be exact. I hope New England isn't dumb enough to come out throwing the ball all over the field again. The run-pass mix was working extremely well. KingPK 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2005 Dillon only had 8 rushes in the 1st half. That's gotta change, Charlie. Especially if the snow keeps up.

2GOLD 0 Report post Posted January 17, 2005 So much for "This time, Peyton's gonna do it" Not over yet. I may dislike the Colts, but no chance in hell will I ever count them out till that clock says 0:00 4th
iggymcfly 0 Report post Posted January 17, 2005 Yeah, I can't believe I went against my original Super Bowl call of Pats over Falcons, and picked the Colts. I'm certainly not going to make the same mistake next week.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted January 17, 2005 Well this sucks. I picked The Colts. I think a lot of people did. And I remember thinking "Everyone save the New England fans are sleeping on the Pats......" and I was right.....you should never sleep on this team. I won't make this mistake next week!
