For one, it wouldn't be that hard for TNA to bring in another belt...the NWA has like, 100s of titles...just bring in the North American title, or any other minor championship and have a tournament for the title. Of course, this would probably piss off whoever the current champion is, but they did the same thing with the World Title...so who cares? At the same time, I don't really think TNA, with their limited TV time each week, would really have room for another belt...it would probably just get lost in the shuffle ultimately.
Corey_Lazarus Posted January 23, 2005 Report Posted January 23, 2005 Well, the World title is only defended once or twice a month, and the X-Division title as well, and the Tag belts are rarely ever defended on Impact in a match that goes longer than 5 minutes...so there ya go. Cut down on some of the commercial time for Impact (since you're watching the show, and thus don't need to know when it's on each week, or who's in TNA already), and bam! Another 5-10 minutes for a match.
