Why idiots shouldn't drive SUV's....

Recommended Posts

Guest CronoT

I was at work on Saturday, and this happened:

IdiotWrecks2.jpg

Some dumbass revved his SUV, jumped up over the curb, and slammed into the wall. Those are cinder blocks he cracked, BTW. I wasn't able to get the pics until today.

[EDIT]-So, is this going to be another one of my threads where no one replies until it gets near 50 or 100 views?

We may come from different folders, but we're all from the same TSM community in times of strife.

And to boost Crono's self-esteem I have a few legit questions about his first post: Did the SUV driver fess up to the accident or drive off? Also, was there anyone in danger of getting run over?...

No, he owned up to it. Also, thank God, no one was injured, including the driver, and the kid in his vehicle.

Also, the reason I made that edit is an inside joke. One thread I once started made it all the way to 84 views before someone replied to it. It's called a running gag.

Does it kill your ego that bad that your shitty threads don't go classic within 7 minutes?

That's me continuing to call bullshit on your running gag.

Whatever floats your boat, Tack.

But is it a running gag when nobody else cares about it? :P

And running gags are lame -- Taking something someone said/did and running it into the ground until it is nothing more than a shell of its former self, annoying everyone and anyone who has the unfortunate luck of reading it.

CronoT, change your sig. Nobody is entertained by it. Nobody who matters, anyway.

Why the fuck do you care what his signature is? Weren't you too busy slurping the Dubya shaft to notice?

EDIT: SUV's cause the most accidents, use up the most gas, are the most expensive to maintain, and are constantly returned due to dissatisfaction from the customers. Not to mention they pollute the air.

SUV's cause the most accidents
SUVs don't cause accidents, idiots driving them do.

use up the most gas
It's not so much more than regular cars to effect the plentiful supply, though, and I don't need strangers worrying about how much I spend to fill my tank once a week or so.

are the most expensive to maintain,
I've had my Explorer for just shy of 5 years now, and have spent a total of $1000 to maintain it (breaks once, and lower ball joints once). Spending an average of $200/year is fine by me.

are constantly returned due to dissatisfaction from the customers
Exagerrate much? The main dissatisaction that I've heard is that people expect their new SUVs to be miracle cars that can tread on ice like it's nothing ... so when they spin out they get all pissy (see point #1, above, for explanation on people being idiots causing accidents)

Not to mention they pollute the air.
How many cars DON'T???

nl5 ... proud SUV driver
